  • The 5th station is 2300m above sea level, so bring a jacket because it could get chilly.
  • Subject to favorable weather conditions. During heavy snowfall season the road leading up to Fuji 5th station will be blocked off. In this case instead of Mt. Fuji 5th station, we will visit Kitaguchi-Hongu-Fujisengen Shrine.
  • In the event of severe traffic caused by holidays or adverse weather conditions, there may be a reduction in planned attractions without refunds. We recommend guests to check travel dates in advance·.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 300 travelers

I really enjoyed the whole tour, wish it was a little longer. My only gripe is that clouds were obscuring Mt Fuji the whole time. Really enjoyed walking around Oshino Hakkai and then taking advantage of holiday discounts at Gotemba Premium Outlets.

Felt a bit of short change with this tour. Didn’t manage to get to 5th station due to road close, which is fine by me but the alternative place is a little underwhelming. No explanation of the place nor anything. Just bring us there and go explore yourselves. And the shopping time was too short.

We had a semi private tour booked, ended up we were the only family on the trip, so it was entirely private trip, which was wonderful. The tour guide/driver was excellent, knew exactly where and what to show us. Very fortunate to see clear view of Mt Fuji, even the driver drove us to a nearby site to take a beautiful scenery of Mt Fuji with clear reflection on the lake, just like a postcard picture. Highly recommended for this trip.

The trip was amazing, our hostess was polite, fun and always engaging with us throughout the journey. She made the bus journeys to each area shorter by filling us in with little snippets of local knowledge. Mount Fuji itself was cloud covered (as always and that can be helped) but Stage 5 is still a beautiful place. If i ever return i will once again be using Viator for these kinds of tours 100%

Excellent trip to Mt Fuji with good english speaking guide. Allows you to see a little more traditional Japan.

Overall, the trip was enjoyable because of the beautiful ponds and activities. What they didn't tell us was that it is virtually impossible to see the majestic mountain during this time of the year when it is rainy most of the time. We went June, which is the start of the summer and rainy season for Japan. I didn't imagine that we will not be able to even glimpse a bit of the mountain. I am not exaggerating. We were at what they call the 5th stop before climbing the mountain itself and the mountain was totally covered with clouds and fog. Other than that, the guides and activities were very good. But what is a Mt Fuji trip without Mt Fuji?

Overall there is nothing special , i would like to follow up the incident was happened at the fruits store , the boss was accidentally overlook the money we pay and return us wrong amount . Due to no cctv and no witness and they may need to count all the stock and incoming fund then will know the actual figure. Can i know is there find out the fact? I do not want the feeling like we cheated the boss. Please update me the result. Thanks

The tour was advertised with an English speaking guide. But it turned out to be a Chinese guide with very very limited English. So on the bus he would talk for 30-45 minutes in Chinese and explain everything. But when it came to English, he would just say one sentence and that would be like we will arrive at Mt Fuji around 11am and that's it. Not explanation or any comment on the significance or cultural aspect of the visit. We finished the tour not leaning anything not a single fact or history about the places we visited. I even highlighted this to him. But he ignore it and was always busy with him mobile phone. It was just waste time and money. Please be aware.

Avons bien aimé la 5ème Station et le lac de Kawaguchiko mais honnêtement le Gotemba Premium Outlet est sans aucun intérêt. Dommage que nous n'ayons pas pu passé plus de temps sur le Mont Fuji et au lac.
