Pickup details

DO NOT Google Maps as you will be diverted away from the maunga mountains. Best directions coming from Turangi are to Turn off State Highway 1 onto SH46, Sign posted on right Tongariro Shuttle Car Park. Coming from National Park Village, turn off State Highway 4 onto SH47, turn off SH47 onto SH46, Sign posted on your left Tongariro Shuttle Car Park. Please inform us the night before if unsure of anything.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Well worth the cost. Brandon, our shuttle driver, had amazing energy and took safety very seriously. Car park felt very safe and was a close walk (~10 mins) away from end of hike.

We missed our assigned shuttle. Luckily they have many shuttles going back and forth so only had to wait 25 minutes. One of the best hikes I’ve done.

Wir kamen um kurz vor 7 Uhr zum Parkplatz, wurden gefragt, über welchen Veranstalter gebucht wurde und dann gings auch direkt los in den Bus und ein sehr netter, lustiger Fahrer hat uns zum Anfang des Tongariro Alpine Crossing gefahren. Wurden immer wieder mit Fakten und Anekdoten gefüttert.
