Please check in with one of our guides in the Go Tours Canada Office. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time to fill in waivers, get helmets, and to start training. We are located between the giant heart and Arvo Coffee Shop inside the Distillery District, not where the parking lot is.

What To Expect

There are walking tours and there are bus tours, but this unique Segway tour provides an entirely new perspective on the city of Toronto and its trendy Distillery District.

Riding on a Segway isn’t rocket science, but it’s important to know how to maneuver one, especially gliding around a bustling city like Toronto. So this tour begins in the historic Distillery District with a brief but thorough training session to make sure everyone feels comfortable and knowledgeable about their Segway. A helmet and safety equipment are provided.

With the training out of the way, it’s time to take it to the streets.

On this 30-minute Segway tour around the Distillery District, cruise along the pedestrian-only brick roads and alleyways that pass the many modern sculptures, designer boutiques, unique pubs and cafés, artisan shops, art galleries and award-winning restaurants.

This internationally acclaimed, pedestrian-only village features more than 70 ground-floor cultural and retail establishments in the restored red brick, Victorian-era buildings of the old Gooderham and Worts whiskey distillery. Gooderham and Worts was once the largest distiller of alcoholic beverages in Canada.

The Distillery District is the place to see and be seen. It’s not just one of Toronto’s hottest tourist attractions, it’s one of Canada’s most popular. Hop on a Segway and discover it in style.

It took a little bit of time to get the hang of the Segway, but once we got it, we all got it. My husband and I who are in our 50s did just fine. We did the 30 minute tour and once it was done, the kids wished it was longer!

My family and I visited Toronto for a birthday celebration from 7/28/22-08/01/22. On 7/28, I booked the tour. Miriam was our guide and she was extremely professional as well as a history buff. We weren't sure we would be able to master a Segway, being 'mature' adults, but after only a minute or two it was completely comfortable. The maneuvering is very intuitive and no one should be afraid to give it a try. The Distillery District is quite small and 30 minutes was plenty of time to be able to see everything. 30 minutes was also the perfect amount of time for a new rider, as muscles you never use for anything else were definitely noticeable after that. The District is very nicely renovated and has several shops that were worth checking out after we were done with the tour. Don't miss the Fluevog shoe store!!!

Awesome, me and my 14 year old son loved this segway tour. First time for both on a Segway, very easy to learn and fun to ride. Streets were crowded but no problems maneuvering. Tour guide Joseph? was great. We wish we would have done the 60 minute tour. This area was very cool with lots of shops and restaurants. Would do again.
