What To Expect

This sightseeing cruise departs from Toronto Harbour on the north shore of Lake Ontario. Climb aboard the elegant Oriole, a 76-foot, Great Lakes steamship replica. Great way to see the City from the water

Great way to see the City, from the water, and the guide was both informative and humorous. I don't agree with comments around having guides with Canadian accents - the mix of guides reflects the multiculturalism of the City. Would be great to go slightly closer to the Islands, and have some pre-tour weather cover, but didn't take too much away from the experience.

Lovely trip around the harbour - great to see Toronto from a different point of view. Everything went to time and staff very courteous. Well worth an hour to take this sightseeing trip.
If this is a tourist attraction to Canada, you need a Canadian speaker please.

This tour should have been a Canadian experience. I am not sure what nationality/accent the tour guide had, but it was very hard to understand his words. I probably understood less than 1/3 of what he said about the harbour. I think you need to make sure you have a genuine Canadian speaking about Toronto. If I toured Edinburgh Castle I would expect to hear a Scotsman telling me the history.

First, tour guide Angie was great. I enjoyed her narrative and had lots of additional knowledge. We didn't know Toronto had another airport which used to be its major airport. The planes taking off were fun to watch. Seeing the skyline of Toronto with explanations about the history and the identification of the different buildings was informative. Very interesting facts about the sugar refinery on the shore. I didn't realize there was a park commemorating the Irish immigration during the famine. There were just a lot of great information.

Being in the open air on a boat with lovely scenery. It was relaxing and just plain enjoyable. JJ the tour guide provided all sorts of interesting facts along the way to put the icing on the proverbial cake. Bravo!!!!!

I strongly suggest that the tour should be cancelled when you can see that the weather conditions are terrible. It was foggy throughout the time. Cancellation policy is not flexible for me to even change my dates or get a refund. A few sensible calls should be taken by the tour company themselves.

The evening cruise was wonderful. It stopped raining 5 minutes after we started. The ability to view thos still in daylight and transitioning to night was magical. Great tour guide with humor and great information about the area. Very romantic! I would do this again!

It was just ok. It was a good chance to snap some photos of the skyline/harbor but beyond that I wouldn’t call it a tour. The view didn’t really change and just went in a circle. I would have liked to have gone further out and around the harbor/islands instead of just in a circle. Tour could have just been 30 mins easily.

You can’t get a better angle to take pictures because people would go anywhere they want. Not worth the money plus they charge me in US funds which is more when they do the exchange rate 😡

There were no memorable times. We sat downstairs, we could not hear the person speaking. And it was uncomfortably hot, there should be more windows open, if not air conditioning. Probably less talking and some music would be good. There were 5 family members on this tour, and we definitely didn't enjoy it.
