William was very knowledgeable about the history and food culture of Kensington Market. We tasted so many wonderful dishes. We especially enjoyed the small group experience as well as walking through the area. We highly recommend walking through the neighborhood earlier, before the crowds arrive.

Fusion is a great word. Amazing combinations of food pairings. I had a such a great time. Each of the 6 stops was like opening a Christmas present, a "surprise". The first stop at "Film Cafe", was my favorite, and it gets better afterwards. The guide was very energetic, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Go on an empty stomach. There are two parking lots to choose from if you drive, and shop around after the tour. It's a lively area.

This is a great tour and a chance to see a different side of Toronto. All the tastings were excellent and the fusions very interesting William was extremely informative and he gave us a short tour between tastings. Ask for William and you will enjoy every minute of the tour.

The unlikely pairings were the surprise of the day with all of them really defining the word Fusion in relation to foods. William was excellent as he walked us through the process of the preparation and selection of the foods consumed, with related history. He also was very, very knowledgeable about all food topics as no one on the tour could stump him with any food questions.

Very nice views from the lake. Relaxed setting. The tour was a very refreshing experience and a nice way to view Toronto. My only complaint is that there was only 1 bartender and the line for drinks was long and the drinks tasted watered down.

Stop researching other food tours! THIS is the one you want if in Toronto. Jesup is a foodie legend. He knows all the best spots and gives mountains of recommendations before, during, and after the tour. He is friendly, respectful, and passionate about Canada. This tour is well worth the money for both the food and fun Canadian trivia you learn along the way.

Excellent tour to learn about Kensington Market and Canada. Food was awesome and more than enough as a full lunch or dinner by the time we were done. You do get ginger ale and a coffee or tea but I wish I had brought some water. Definitely worth taking time to do this!

It was one of the best short tours in my life. Such a great passion and knowledge! You may say "a food tour should be about food". This one was mostly about history of Toronto and the whole country. However - food was really good. Great impressions! I am interested in other programs with "Chops and Forks".

It became a private tour, since the other person didn't showed up, and I really enjoyed it! Jessica was the perfect tour guide, she knows a lot about Canadian culture (and many more, trust me!) and always answers my questions between her explanation. The tour is well designed since we have the equivalent of a full meal over different places, with starter, main dishes and deserts. Everything was super good! Thanks a lot! If you're looking for a good way to taste Canadian culture, go for it!

Wonderful Canadian Food Tour

This tour in Kensington Market allowed us to sample many unique Canadian foods, such as peameal bacon and poutine. However, the best was the "taco" at the Pow Wow Restaurant. We would never have had the opportunity to try that delicious food without having gone on the Great Canadian Food Tour. Our guide Jessica was also wonderful, very friendly and provided us with very interesting information about the Canadian foods and the Kensington Market area. Ask for Jessica!
