We strongly advise wearing comfortable walking shoes to all of our guests. Our tour runs a little over 3 hours.
Please make sure that everyone is dressed appropriately for the weather as some parts of the tour will be outdoors.

Due to the nature of creating a well balanced and thoughtful gastronomy experience, many of our tours are unable to accommodate certain dietary restrictions. Please contact us prior to booking your tour to see if we are able to accommodate your dietary needs.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Highly recommend this tour. Outstanding guide. A wealth of local info. Great tastes. Viator seems to be a bit unresponsive when advised of changes by the local provider of the tours. General areas of visitation would have been helpful. IE: Lawrence Market, Distillery district, etc.

Yulia, our tour guide, was not only knowledgeable, but also so enthusiastic about Toronto generally and the food scene, specifically. She was wonderful. I was particularly fond with the Nanaimo Bar and Butter Tart. While the rain somewhat dampened the experience, I would highly recommend it to both foodies and those who generally want to know more about the history and culture of Toronto.

We had a great time with Yulia yesterday. We all agreed when you have a short time in the city, a food tour is a great way to learn a bit about the history, culture, and have some good tastes along the way. We came hungry and left satisfied (and with some much appreciated leftovers).

This tour is a must if visiting Lawrence Market is on your list whilst visiting Toronto! First off lets just say Sanaya was the best tour guide I've had on a foodie tour and her presence and getting to know us all, made the experience of the tour wholesome, she was very knowledgable not only about the market but also gave us a history tour on areas whilst walking between the food stops. She made sure we were all ok throughout the whole time we were together and also that we all were ok with regards to dietary needs and what the kids were eating as we had some younger people in the group. Pro tip for this tour: DON'T eat breakfast before you go lol - there is a lot of food throughout and they are often not the teeny bite size portions but rather a small meal, so well worth the monies and she saves the bet treat until last! you do plenty of walking so don't bloat yourself on fluids too and wear comfy shoes!

Our family enjoyed having an experienced guide show us some of the best places to eat at St. Lawrence Market and in the Distillery District. Our guide, Paris, was extremely kind to our 9 year old and was a wealth of knowledge. We had so much fun learning about Toronto and its diverse population and culture.

Had so much fun! Paris, our guide was very knowledgable and everything he chose to have us taste, gave us a deeper understanding of not only the food, but some of the history behind these Canadian specialities! He was very knowledgeable about the city and it's history and was a lot of fun! We finished off the tour at a specialty bakery to taste a special Canadian delicacy... everything was delicious! Carol was such a great guide! She was very friendly and soo knowledgeable. Different from other tours we had during our trip, with this one we really felt we were constantly learning about the sights and places' history, the city's culture and some other insights. Arguably, Carol's guidance would've been enough to consider this as a great tour, but then on top of that we ate some iconic and delicious food! We were very happy with what we got.

Our guide Yulia was quite informative and knowledgeable about Old Toronto where our walking food tour took place. The food itself was plentiful, diverse and reflective of native Toronto cuisine. Our family is a group of seven ranging from ages 15 to 70 and all had a lovely time.
