Best two Chateaus in the Loire with wine!

I think this tour combined the two most popular Chateaus and a nice visit to a wine cave and tasting. Our guide had some good knowledge of some history but was a little shaky on some points i brought up. I think a guide should try to thoroughly learn not only her standard script but study a bit more to round out her presentation. It was an all day tour with a break for lunch in the perfect French town of Amboise .

We had an amazing day with miss Marie from France Intense, we visited Chateaux Chenonceau, Chateau Chambord and as an in between a very fine wine tasting and lunch at Caves Ambacia, miss Marie is very knowledgeable and brings it with a lot of enthusiasm and passion, it shows in her stories. Also the staff at the caves (hope you have Mr. Pascal who’s passion for his beautiful product really shows), made our day, we had an amazing day out. Even though the weather was a bit rainy, we loved every second and truly believe it is worth every penny. We went home with good memories, new knowledge, some amazing wines and best of all, a reason to come back and explore the beautiful region a bit more with this amazing company, Thank you for a lovely day, et au revoir !

Charline was an excellent guide! We ended up by ourselves on this tour, so it became a private tour! Charline was very knowledgeable and not very overwhelming! We would highly recommend this trip and Charline!

Loved it!!! My 16 year old daughter and I had an amazing time!!! The tour was entertaining and educational. Our guide was charming, organized, and very affable. The chateaus were beautiful and the wine tasting was great! I definitely recommend this tour

Well design tour. Christian makes this wonderful stories around every corner visited in the palaces. He's an excellent tour guide, knowledgeable and very dedicated to attend everybody needs. The group was a small one and exceptional! I wished the castle will stay open longer to have more time to wander around, but the goal of the tour is achieved! Totally recommended.

Our guide Christian was great-he had loads of great information and funny stories. The whole day was smooth and easy for us with nothing to worry about other than getting to the pick up location (which was easy)! It was the best way to see the Chateaux and Caves, as we could ask all the questions we wanted and didn't have to wait in any lineups. We would highly recommend this tour!

We were visiting Loire Valley as part of a honeymoon trip to France. Our tour guide to Chenonceau and Chambord, Christian, was so entertaining and knowledgeable. We loved his stories and energy! The winery tour and lunch were a unique experience with the owner giving us unique insight.

Exquisitely intriguing. Poor acoustics for the back of the van and a very crowded van.

Chambord and it’s history. The charm of the Chateaus and their natural surroundings resonated in our sojourn. The picturesque French countryside piqued our interest and buoyed our spirits. The guide was talented and knew the history of the chateaux. Communication of the bus with our location for pick up was at best good

Instead of leaving us to have lunch in Amboise (after the wine tasting) and then rushing Chambord they should have let us have lunch at Chambord. Then we could have walked around outside the chateau which we did not have time to do !

good historical information but no photo time

The trip was not as good as expected, the tour guide provided some history background of the tour, however had no photo time at the beginning and plan to leave the first site, chateau chenonceau after his historic stories, honestly, I only see the chateau the guide showed us. I made my complaint and he organised photo time after. I think the tour guide was too focus on the historical part of the chateaux which was good but I would be happy if I could have 15-30minutes to discover the chateau chenonceau by myself.

It was the case when you joined this tour. Our guide made his best and even gave you extra time. This kind of tour includes a certified guide so she/he can give you historical explanations and anecdotes you would not have without a guide. As a consequence, the tour is more focused on the historic part than on photo time. But as you may understand, we cannot spend one hour for photo time. Thank you for your understanding. Totally worth it. I was a little apprehensive of an all day tour, probably b/c we just had a half day tour of versailles, and it was a group of 30+, and the guide was trying but it way...meh. This tour restored my faith in tours. The driver / guide, Christian was amazing. The pace of the tour was a perfect balance of chalet, wine, lunch, chalet. We got back at 1830, but I could easily have stayed longer at any one of the tours. The group was only 8, which was a nice size group. Again, our guide/driver was patient, informative and entertaining. We had several other tours, this was easily the best of our 1 week stay.

A fantastic day out. Amazing castles, an interesting lesson about wine during the wine testing session. The last but not the least, the guide, Jean-Georges, offered a lot of interesting details and stories that made the visits very attractive!
