Overview

The views are beautiful, captain Carlos skillfully manœuvres the boat so that you can get the best views of cormorants and sea lions. The guide is cheerful, full of information on the geography and morphology of the coast and historical anedoctes. The lenght of the tour is just right.

Great tour, beautiful views, amazing wildlife!

This tour was really great. We had a wonderful guide and the perfect weather to explore the Beagle Channel. We saw so many sea lions, birds, and DOLPHINS it was amazing! We took the afternoon tour, and our minitrekking was perfectly timed to be right before sunset. The view was beautiful. Loved it!

Very pleasant quick excursion of the national park if you don't have a lot of time but still you wanna see this wonderful park. The guide was really knowledgable and nice, the places are majestic.

Truly incredible experience! We got in late and missed our 10am tour and they were kind enough to let us rebook on the 3pm tour. We had an amazing guide and captain who got us in a pod of hundreds of dolphins! Beautiful landscape, beautiful people.

This was an excellent experience. We were so happy that we went with the smaller boat tour. It was a much more personal experience and gave us the chance to really see things - we saw a larger catamaran doing the same tour and it was PACKED! Looked not fun. The guide was awesome - she gave us some history and geographic knowledge about the area, hot tea/coffee was served, and the small hike to the Bridges Island was enjoyable with breathtaking views. We saw sea lions everywhere (not only on the small island where they all hang out but just throughout the boat ride), saw a couple of whales super far out in the distance (still cool to see something!), albatross, other birds, and absolutely amazing views. Bathroom on board too! Would highly recommend this tour

Beautiful trip and lovely to get out and do a small hike on the island. Saw sea lions, cormorants, and whales! The only downside is no penguins, but there is another excursion for that, we just ran out of time.

I chose not to do the penguin tour as I was headed to Antarctica. I loved learning about the cormorants that look like penguins and the seals. Circling the lighthouse was memorable.

We were lucky enough to see dozens of dolphins and 2 whales, as well as the King Cormorants, Sea lions, Lighthouse, etc.. the trip was a decent half day without being too long or too short. The guide (Maria) was very sweet and knowledgeable, also about flora on the island walk and birds (I’m the opposite of an ornithologist but she pointed out a Crested Caracara (Mexican Eagle) and we got pretty close, which was amazing). Toilets on board and they give you coffee / tea / hot choc. About 20-25 in the group. Boat had a capacity of max 30 passengers. Maria did everything in English and Spanish and always with a genuine smile. The crew are a bit shy, and although they don’t ask for it or advertise it, there is a tip bottle. Most people missed it. The price of the trip is very reasonable and well, well worth the money. The crew are also well worth a tip!! Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Here are some of the things we loved- Being beside the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse which is famous for sailors who rounded Cape Horn. The beautiful scenery from the water. The sea lions. Walking on one of the tiny islands. The people we talked to. The wonderful friendly guide. It was a fantastic trip! The smaller boat is great because you are up close to everything. We were lucky the weather was perfect.

We started right on time with a group mixed eng/esp passengers. Our guide was informative in both languages. We got pretty close to the animals and got great shots. Dress appropriately for the windy weather. Even thought it’s summer and 60 outside - the wind is no joke. There are seats inside (where the presentation is at) and outside if you want. Bring cash if you want to tip or buy light snacks.

A cloudy, cold day but still a great experience learning about the geography, climate and marine life of Beagle Channel. I definitely recommend this tour as the group is limited to no more than 26 people.

A good short tour from the cruise pier

It would be good for the guide to use a PA system. The boat was noisy and hard to understand what the guide said. It also helps if a TV monitor is used to display maps and pictures rather than the paper versions. The boat was very close to the bird island and the lighthouse. The tour included a short walk on an island, which was good. Overall the tour was worth the effort and cost.
