Our terminal is situated at Pioneer Waterfront Plaza in the heart of Nanaimo Harbour. The waterfront terminal sits directly across from the Lighthouse Bistro. Check-in for your flight 40 minutes ahead of your scheduled departure.

What To Expect

Make your way to the Nanaimo Harbour Air Seaplanes Terminal in advance of your scheduled flight time, and take a seat in your seaplane to begin your flight.

Soar high through the skies of British Columbia with your pilot, and enjoy sweeping views over the many tiny islands dotting the Strait of Georgia.

Land in Sechelt — on the Sunshine Coast — and enjoy up to four hours of free time to explore at your leisure. Then, return via seaplane to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island to bring your adventure to an end.

It was overall a very enjoyable experience except it was extremely hot and very little air flow! Very smooth take off and landing but a bit of a bumpy landing coming back from Sechelt into Nanaimo!

It was an overcast day, so the scenery could have been more spectacular than it was. It was interesting that we were on a sightseeing trip while other passengers were simply traveling to Seshelt. Seshelt was a cozy little town. We were there for 2 1/2 hours. a little too long. On the flight back we were the only passengers. My granddaughter got to sit next to the pilot. Very cool. The pilot was very professional and so were all the personnel we dealt with. An unforgettable experience. Thank you.

While over from the UK on an Alaska cruise we just wanted to say we had been in a seaplane... so booked a return flight, had 30 mins in the pub before we returned to Nanaimo... Brilliant.
