Great day trip from Verona to Sirmione on lake Garda

Great day trip from Verona to Sirmione, on lake Garda. Our guide, Alessandra, was really helpful, knowledgeable and engaging, taking the time to chat a little to everyone in the group individually, as well as addressing the whole group. Boat trip was good, if a little short and would have liked to have gone a bit faster! Sirmione is a beautiful little town with a medieval castle and some lovely restaurants, cafes and gelato road. It was quite busy in April, so must be too over crowded in the summer months.

Entire tour was on time and it’s a beautiful place to visit and enjoy the full day. I’d like to hear about the history of the sirmione while commuting in the bus. The guide in sirmione was very good.

Fantastic tour on Lake Garda

Sirmione is a gorgeous setting on the south side of lake Garda. The short boat tour around the peninsula combined with the walking tour of the historic old city was a great way to take in the sites. Our guides were well versed in the regional history.

Waste of money

Honestly there wasn’t much to the tour. The tour guide Mathilde was lovely but it was more the organisation of the tour which was quite a waste of time - 1 hour to explore, a non exciting boat ride, and a total of 5 facts that can easily be googled shared by the ‘local guide’. It was a rushed, poorly crafted and very non experiential tour. Please head there yourself, this tour is a waste of money, I regret it.

We had a great tour of Sirmione and Lake Garda. Leonardo, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and made a point of interacting with all members of the small group. The boat ride on the lake was a highlight as was the walk around Sirmione. I would highly recommend the tour.

Lovely tour including a boat trip. Would go have preferred to have longer time to explore such a pretty place. The journey back was very hot as it appeared the aircon wasn’t working in the mini bus.

Overall a very good tour. Guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about different aspects of the area. A very sudden change of plans on the boat ride meant we missed a few photos but other than that a satisfying trip.

Matilda and David were great tour guides. Wonderful job for sure. I am a lover of lakes and boating so this tour was amazing for me. The boat ride was beautiful. I could have stayed out there for 2 hours exploring the waters. It’s only a 30 min ride but well worth it. Then a secret walking tour on the peninsula by the castle. Great to learn the history as well as current life of the people who live in Sirmione. I could come back and spend a whole day here. These tours are great to give you a small taste. I suggest you plan to use your hour free time well, you could bring a swim suit and step into the water to enjoy the refreshing lake. I wish I would have known so I could do this too. But again, I’ll just come back. We were able to have a bit to eat at the cafe by the water. It’s a quick 15 minute walk from the castle.

Trip was well run. Guides were good both attentive and knowledgeable. The only problem if any was it is hard to hear the guide at times with the boat noise. The walking tour was fine. A beautiful place to visit and we can easily recommend.
