    The Victoria Harbour Airport terminal is situated in the Inner Harbour on Wharf Street steps from the downtown core, the Parliament Buildings and many of the city’s iconic hotels and attractions. Check-in for your tour is 40 minutes ahead of the scheduled departure.

What To Expect

Your seaplane flight over Victoria begins directly at the Victoria Harbour Airport. Choose from numerous convenient start times, make your own way to the airport, and complete a smooth check-in and boarding process. With a maximum of only 13 fellow passengers, this shared flight overs a cost-effective but still intimate way to see the sights.

Then, with your expert pilot at the helm, take to the skies. You’ll get to admire a perspective of Victoria that few other visitors get to see. Soak up views of the harbor and the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and even look out for the Olympic Mountains in the distance.

As you go, capture photos of the scenery. You’ll spend around 20 minutes in the air—enough time for a good overview of the region’s popular highlights.

After enjoying a water landing experience—itself a distinct experience—you’ll arrive back at the Victoria Harbour Airport, where this tour ends.

  • Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
  • All passengers travelling must be ambulatory in order to fly. A mobility assistance device, such as a wheelchair or cane, may be used by a passenger to get from the terminal to the aircraft, however, passengers must have the ability to walk on and off the aircraft with minimal or no assistance.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • Passengers must arrive at the terminal at least 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time, and be fully checked-in 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
  • Passengers not checked-in before the check-in cutoff times will not be able to board their scheduled flight and will not be refunded their fare.
  • All passengers 18 years and above must present either one piece of valid government issued photo identification, or two pieces of government-issued identification without a photograph
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 14 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

When the seaplane went so high up! The view was just “wow” what an amazing experience! What an incredibly beautiful City! Seaplane tour was very high if not number one on the list to do in Victoria!

Excellent experience, we saw some fabulous sights. There is no commentary but that is understandable being as its quite noisy and the pilot is a bit busy! We'll worth it.

Great experience throughout. Check in staff efficient and helpful. Complimentary drinks and snacks while waiting at the terminal. Easy boarding and nice to be welcomed on board by the pilot. I sat in the co pilot seat, having seen it was vacant and asked the pilot. Loved take off and landing. My first time in a seaplane. Brilliant views throughout the flight. Pilot took photos of us in front of the plane at the end of the flight. All very relaxed. Would thoroughly recommend.

Really fun activity on a sunny day

We booked this just the night before, after other plans had fallen through. In the end, I'm glad we got to do this instead! We hadn't felt it was feasible to book one of these planes to fly to the island, but the tour was a fun way to experience the small planes and also get a unique view of the island. As some other reviewers mentioned, there is no commentary on what you're seeing, so I was prepared for that. I think it would be nice if the airline had a map of the flight path you're on so you know what you're looking at, but you'll still enjoy a memorable flight.

Fun tour with great views of the city

Easy to book, easy check in. Our pilot made sure everyone was happy with their seat and gave a thorough explanation of what to expect. Fun, little tour of the city and over to Butchart Gardens. Would definitely recommend and do it again next time we’re in Victoria.

Not worth it

I have taken several flights on helicopters and planes all over the world, but was super stoked to be on my first sea plane. But they didn’t say one thing about what we were looking at. We just flew around in a circle for 20 minutes. Beautiful, but not worth $245 for 20 minutes of no history or even a mention of a neighborhood. I gave two stars…one for takeoff, one for landing, because we didn’t die.
