    If you are looking for a Historical tour, DO NOT book this tour

    We booked this tour really looking forward to getting to know a little bit about the history of Vienna but alas we were in for a very big disappointment. According to this tour's description we would get to know about da Vinci's Last Supper, see the Lipizzan stables, the National theater the University and Beetoven's Pasqualtihaus. We were also supposed to pass through the Secession building. None of these things happened. Instead we would see café after café, bars and some souvenir and jewlery shops. When the guide, Julia, tried to add a little history it was a disaster. She wouldn't even mention the date or century and other members of the group would have to constantly ask the century. When we would ask a question she would just say "yes" or "exactly" without listening to the question. Example "are you talking about the 19th or 20th century?" "Yes".....

    Enjoyed the tour but wasn't what we were expecting. The description of the tour did not match the experience. The experience was good but we missed out on seeing some of the things we were expecting to see. Great guide and very knowledgeable. Understand that this tour has recently been updated but then the description needs to match the experience.

    Our tour was very informative with very knowledgeable guide. At the very beginning there was a mistake with the time of Tour, and we had to contact Viator to fix it. Our tour was postponed for afternoon and we got very good service and visited some unusual places where not everyone usually goes. My cousin did not speak English very well, but we were lucky our guide could communicate with her in Russian language.

    Brief intro to the main city points, but guide had us standing in direct heat of sun with no shade while he endlessly gave history lessons we could’ve googled instead.

    Allie was perhaps the best tour guide we have ever had. Amazing knowledge and the ability to communicate it made the tour an absolutely top experience of all time. Answered all questions that were asked. Three hours of walking seemed easy, as we stopped and sat on benches while she talked. Pointed out things that we might want to come back to later.

    Lisa our walking tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city and was able to bring the past to life in the present. As we were such a small group she was able to take us to incidental areas enroute which you would not have got in a larger group. She was friendly and answered any questions very well. We came away knowing and remembering quite a bit about the beautiful city.

    This was a great tour. The guide was knowledgeable, personable and did a great job balancing basic history overview with interesting details. We covered all the big things in central Vienna and he sent us off with lots of personalized suggestions for the rest of our day. After seeing the giant tour groups all over the city center, I was grateful that this was a small, personalized tour.
