Overview

Take to the water for an adrenaline-fuelled white-water rafting excursion in the Glacier National Park. Paddle along the Middle Fork of the Flathead River, enjoy a thrilling 8-mile (13-kilometer) route including Class II and II rapids, and admire stunning views of the John Stevens Canyon and the surrounding Glacier National Park.

Additional Info

  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Youth rates apply for ages 12 and under. Minimum of 50 lbs. No maximum weight but must be able to wear a life jacket which can accommodate up to a 56 inch chest.
  • Wear clothing that you don't mind getting wet and footwear that stays securely on your feet such as tennis shoes, sneakers, water shoes or sandals with straps (please no flip flips of Crocs). We have water shoes available to rent for $5. Wet suits and splash jackets will be included and provided during the months of May and June or during periods of cooler weather. Trips depart rain or shine.

  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Our white water rafting trip was so so great!!! Highly recommend this company for their friendliness, organization, and passion for guiding tours. McClure was amazing!!! He was so enthusiastic about what he does, so friendly, made great conversation and made everyone feel very welcome. He did a wonderful job and we appreciated him and the company so much!!!

11/10! Wylie and the team at Glacier Raft Co were amazing! The scenic views, learning about the Flathead River’s history and awesome raft guide jokes makes this trip a must do when in west glacier. We will definitely be back!

Viator tours never disappoint! This was our first whitewater rafting experience as a family and our 17 year old boys gave it a 10/10. Mike was a fantastic guide and made the experience memorable. Absolutely recommend Glacier Raft + Viator.

We had an amazing experience. We ended up with some scheduling issues due to traveling delays and the company was very accommodating and moved our reservations around without a problem. Kyle was our guide and was awesome and we would definitely come back and do this experience again and recommend it to our friends and family!

We had an awesome time. Very good guide in Matt! Smooth sailing the whole way under his guidance. Rapids were fun but not too difficult. We did get a little wet, but the front paddlers got soaked. No pics as no camera/phones should be on the boat unless waterproof.

The Middle Fork of the Flathead River is a beautiful river surrounded by gorgeous scenery. The vistas are wide and scenic for the whole trip as opposed to going through narrow canyons with a limited view. Our guide, Maddy, was fun and knowledgeable!! Great family experience that will be long remembered!!
