Public transportation or local taxis maybe used to transfer between sites. Exact transportation costs can be discussed with the guide after you have decided on your tour route. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Despite very rainy weather throughout the day we had a very good tour and managed to see a lot in Tokyo

We just mentioned the spots in Tokyo we would like to visit beforehand. Our guide made a perfect Itinerary out of it and brought us safely to all the places and provided us a lot of interesting information.

The day flew by, one wonderful experience after another! Kenzo Ito was so well informed and shared historical and cultural facts galore. I fully felt his enthusiasm and it reaffirmed my personal observations of the beauty, grace and timeless serenity of our surroundings amidst moments of the hustle and bustle of life today. A great juxtaposition!

Kiyo showed us many wonderful sites in Tokyo. She explained the history of them and their part in Japanese history. She did a wonderful job of navigating us through the train, subway and bus systems. She found us a small family restaurant and helped us order a excellent lunch. When we were finished she returned with us to our starting point so she could make sure that we would return safely. She adjusted the pace so that we were not rushed at each of the sites and had plenty of time for photos and purchasing souvenirs. If the opportunity arises we would definitely recommend her as a guide.

As I skipped Nezu Shrine in our previous plan, you mentioned the charm of downtown atmosphere.
I had been afraid of you to be ended up with fatigue due to walking in the big crowds of people on the festival day after Sensoji Asakusa,
which also attracts lots of people. But I found you skillfully navigated through floods of worshippers, taking pictures.
And you call a set of frugal meal which anybody with a small budget can enjoy an excellent lunch.
I have a fever to ask you. You'd say, "No need." because you are a bit of camara-shy and have picture memory.
Still I insist to print a picture taken at Nezu Shrine. Looking at you and your wife standing at the veranda where vermilion torii
gates were behind, anybody can tell how nice and happy the couple is. After several years of the trip, one of your friends will take up the phot
by the window, you might tell how the tour was like. And I'd be so proud when you remember who took that picture.

Our Viator guide, Yoshi Eto, met us at our hotel in Yokohama, and we took the train to Tokyo for the day. We had been in touch with Yoshi a couple of times by e-mail to establish what we would like to see on our tour of Tokyo. Yoshi was punctual and well prepared for the day. He was quite knowledgeable about Japan, and it was obvious to us that he loved his home country and was proud to share this with tourists. We visited the Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, the Imperial Palace, 5 way crossing and Hachiko statue in Shibuya as well as a visit to Kappabashi Street for shopping. He took us to a traditional Japanese restaurant for a Kushiage lunch. All in all, it was a very enjoyable day in a beautiful city. Thank you Viator for introducing us to Yoshi.

What an exceptional tour. Our guide Seiji Shiraishi is great. He had our preplanned itinerary with pictures and time table. We toured so much of Tokyo all by train and subway. Visited all the major sites and had a great sushi lunch. He escorted us from our ship which was docked in Yokohama to Tokyo and back. Also gave us a mini tour of Yokohama before our ship left. 5 stars plus.
