Visitors to Beauvoir can dive into the history of the short-lived Confederate States of America by taking a guided tour of the home and presidential library. Learn about Davis’ life, and see the place where he wrote The Rise and Fall of the Confederate Government. An additional self-guided tour of the grounds takes visitors through gardens, to a cemetery, and along a nature trail.

How to Get There

Beauvoir is located at 2244 Beach Blvd. From downtown Biloxi, take Main Street towards the beachfront, and turn right on Beach Boulevard. Follow the boulevard 5 miles (8 kilometers), and turn right into the historic grounds.

When to Get There

Beauvoir is open every day. House tours are offered every hour, on the hour. Visit on Jefferson Davis’ birthday (June 6) to enjoy cupcakes and festivities. Other special events include holiday celebrations such as the Four Days of Christmas and the spring Eggstravaganza.
