How to Get There

Devin Castle lies just 6 miles (9.5 kilometers) from Bratislava, an easy 10-minute taxi ride or drive from Old Town Bratislava. Free parking is available. Alternatively, take city bus 29 from Novy Most (New Bridge), which takes approximately 30 minutes. During the summer months, you can also take a 90-minute boat ride along the Danube from the city center to Devin Castle.

When to Get There

The castle is open 10am to 4:30pm Tuesday through Sunday, and until 5:30pm April through October. Since Devin Castle is in ruins and exposed to the elements, it is closed during inclement weather. The best time to visit Bratislava is between May and September, when it is warmer and less windy.
