The BurJuman encompasses more than 300 stores selling clothing, electronics, perfumes, and other goods. Visitors can browse high-end creations at boutiques such as Versace and Gianfranco Ferre; find the latest high-street looks at brands such as H&M and Next; pick out toys, homeware, and furnishings; and shop at a Carrefour hypermarket. In between retail splurges, they can relax at 40 restaurants and fast-food stops, a 14-screen VOX cinema, and a family-oriented games hub and virtual reality theater.

The BurJuman is easy to visit independently, and some hop-on hop-off bus routes stop right outside the mall.

How to Get There

The BurJuman stands on Bur Dubai’s Khalid Bin Al Waleed Road and benefits from its own dedicated metro stop, so it’s easy to get to. In addition, numerous Dubai buses stop outside. By road, follow the Bur Dubai signs from Sheikh Zayed Road, and at the Trade Centre roundabout, with the Trade Centre on your right, take the fourth exit.

The BurJuman is open 10am–10pm Saturday–Wednesday and 10am–11pm Thursday and Friday. The mall attracts a steady flow of shoppers during the day and evening, so you’ll never have to navigate the peak-time crowds that can fill some of Dubai’s bigger malls.

Use a visit to the BurJuman to delve into Dubai’s nearby Al Fahidi neighborhood. Laced with narrow alleyways, wind-tower houses, museums, and shops, this restored district provides a wonderful glimpse into Dubai’s past. To get there, hop back on the metro at the BurJuman station, ride it one stop to Al Fahidi, and make the 10-minute stroll to the old quarter from there.
