Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT)

Dubai

The Basics

Often referred to as ‘JLT,’ the Jumeirah Lake Towers is divided into clusters of individually designed towers, all framed by palm-dotted walkways, gardens, and shopping and dining hubs. Visitors come here to drink in the skyline, stroll by the lakes, and enjoy the 500-plus shops and 300 or so restaurants. The lakeshores are also home to kids’ playgrounds and a jogging track.

JLT makes an impressive sight after dark, its floodlit high-rises shining against the night sky. Travelers can admire the scene on Dubai evening bus tours that follow Sheikh Zayed Road and serve up unobstructed views over the illuminated towers.
