Fremantle Markets

Fri: 8am-8pm, Sat-Sun: 8am-6pm.
South Terrace, Fremantle, Perth, Western Australia, 6160

The basics

The legendary markets feature more than 150 stalls split between two sections: the Yard and the Hall. The fresh-produce section in the Yard is a great place to stock up on supplies, particularly organic produce, if you are self-catering, while the food court features excellent street food from around the world. In the Hall, you’ll find clothing and accessories by local designers, including items crafted by Indigenous artisans; unique art and handicrafts; great-value cosmetics and toiletries, and a myriad of souvenirs.

Sightseeing tours of Freemantle often include a stop here. Visiting with a tour guide is a great way to source insider knowledge on the best vendors to visit.
