The basics

Visitors can explore the castle’s modest interior and climb to the top of the 75-foot (22-meter) tower for daytime views over Galway Bay, or purchase tickets for a twice-nightly medieval banquet, which includes a 4-course candlelit dinner complete with Celtic music, mead, and storytelling. The castle is also seen on guided day tours from Galway and Dublin that typically also visit other attractions in the area, such as the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and the Aillwee Cave, as well as parts of the Wild Atlantic Way.

Fulsome Irish adventure
The opportunity to visit the caves was a good option which we really in the inclement weather. And we were so pleased to enjoy the Cliffs of Moher in a fleeting hour of sunshine. John B, our driver, was very informative and concerned for our safety. He kept our full schedule tour on time and packed in such a great Wild Atlantic experience.
