Miniatur Wunderland

Kehrwieder 2/Block D, Hamburg, 20457

The basics

Situated in a historic warehouse in Hamburg’s UNESCO-listed Speicherstadt district, Miniatur Wunderland took more than 17 years to construct. The expansive, highly detailed display areas—including Central Germany, Knuffingen (a fictional German town), Austria, Hamburg, America, Scandinavia, Switzerland, and Italy—are works of art. In addition to tableaus from everyday life, the railroad includes scenes from Star Wars, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Superman, and other fictional worlds. To learn more about how the installations are made, you can visit the artisans in their studios.

Save time at the entrance by booking your ticket online in advance. Alternatively, enjoy a guided, personalized experience when you stop by as part of a private city tour. The Hamburg Card also includes admission to Miniatur Wunderland.
