The island's third-largest town probably isn't what you imagine when you think of Ibiza. Popular with families, the area features a palm-lined promenade running along a sandy stretch of beach, as well as some of the island’s best restaurants and art galleries.
Carve out some time to visit the Puig de Missa, a hilltop church built in 1568, or play a round of golf at the only course on the island. While there are a few bars in Santa Eulària, the nightlife scene tends to be more laid-back than in Eivissa and Sant Antoni.

Santa Eulària des Riu is well connected to the rest of the island by boat and bus. A mini tourist train in the area takes visitors from town to Cala Boix and other popular attractions.
The best time to visit Santa Eulària des Riu is between May and October. Prices across the island drop between November and April, as do temperatures, which make the beaches less appealing for swimming.
This stretch of the Ibiza coast has a few worthwhile beaches to explore. Cala Boix is known for its black sand, while Aguas Blancas is a quiet cove with its own parking area, making it easily accessible. Both Mariner’s Beach and the main beach are rounded out with amenities, like bathrooms, showers, beach umbrellas, and restaurants.
