Located in her hometown of Jamestown, New York, the Lucille Ball Museum is an homage to all things I Love Lucy, one of the greatest sitcoms of all time, as well as the couple who created it. A must for fans of the show, step onto exact recreations of the I Love Lucy sets, admire Lucille and Desi’s awards, check out original costumes, and soak up the lives and legacies of Ball and Arnaz.
I loved everything about it. I have been a fan for decades. Highly recommend visiting. The customer service was great . Driving through to NH. It was well worth the extra driving.
I am still in all of the experience that I had at the museum. It has been three days and I can see everything vividly and I’m excited about having been able to see it and I am so thankful that whoever did the museum put it together it’s so precise and so thorough and it was just a pleasure just a real pleasure. If I had the chance or when I have a chance I will go back and visit it again it is mesmerizing.
It was a great experience!! The museum is a hidden treasure for all those who grew up with Lucy.
I loved seeing the costumes and pictures. Loved her car!! ❤️ I enjoyed shopping in the gift shop and I purchased a Christmas ornament! I hope the will add on more of her personal items to the museum. We went to her grave. Now that was a little disappointing. You can not see her names on the graves. It is in need of attention!
Lots of memories watching Lucille ball as a child. So funny! Love the set recreations. Didn’t realize she encouraged carol burnett, another icon of comedy. So cool her studio produced Star Trek .
It took a nine hour drive to get to Jamestown. Going to the Lucy/Desi museum was worth the drive! The museum was totally AMAZING!! I could've spent many more hours there. Unfortunately, my feet started to give out. If you do go, be sure to wear very comfortable shoes. Be sure to stop by for a great & educational time.
This is our fourth trip to this museum and each time that we have come, there is always more to see! We brought my daughter’s 68 year old uncle to see this museum for the first time, since he is a huge “I Love Lucy” fan. He enjoyed his first visit tremendously! He was very impressed with how much memorabilia there was, and how very well done the museum set up was.
My daughter is leaving home to attend her first year of college, and we have all been extremely sad to see her go. However, being at the Lucy/Desi Museum helped to put smiles on our faces, and brought us happiness for that day! We were so thankful that we were able to get to Jamestown, New York before our lives begin to change and also before our hectic week ahead! Thank you all for helping to bring so much joy into people’s lives! We will continue to keep visiting the Lucy/Desi Museum for many years to come!
