The basics

Only accessible by boat, Koh Haa is most often visited on day trips from Koh Lanta, Koh Phi Phi, Krabi, or Phuket. You can swim and kayak in the shallow protected lagoon formed by three of the islands, and relax on a small sandy beach. Exploring by liveaboard scuba diving boat lets you access more than a dozen dive sites for different levels. Some day trips also stop at Koh Rok, and typically last eight hours.

Must do in Koh Lanta
Such a fantastic snorkeling experience with a knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend this trip if you're interested in high quality marine life. We saw thousands of reef fish and some very unique species!

When to get there

The best time to visit Koh Haa is during the high season from November through March, when the waters are calmer and you’re most likely to see whale sharks. With more than a dozen dive sites, divers can easily spend a few days here on a live aboard, though day trips are easy and plentiful. Ko Haa is typically closed over the monsoon season, from May through October.
