Levi Ski Resort

Hissitie 8, Kittilä, 99130

The Basics

Set atop a 1,700-foot (531-meter) mountainous ridge, Levi is one of the largest ski areas in Lapland, equipped with dozens of slopes and ski lifts. Both first-timers and seasoned skiers will find ample opportunities to try out the slopes, alongside alternative winter activities like Nordic walking excursions, dog sledding, northern lights spotting, and visiting a reindeer park.

Levi might be at its liveliest during the winter months, but the resort town is still worth a visit when the snow stops falling, with year-round activities including mountain biking at the Levi bike park, dry-slope sledding, and zip-lining at Levi Adventure Park. Levi is also within striking distance of Rovaniemi’s Santa Claus Village, and trips offering a chance to meet Father Christmas and an overnight stay at a snow hotel are popular options.
