The basics

The California Science Center is the place for a day of interactive activities, where visitors can encounter a world of science exhibitions exploring topics from ecosystem dynamics to engineering and the cosmos. You can take a stroll in the sculpture garden, head to the roof for a high-wire bike ride, or try the thrilling space-themed simulators.

Since entry is free, you can browse the permanent exhibition spaces at no cost. If you want to experience the center's special exhibitions, activities, and IMAX films, it's best to reserve advance tickets. Paid tickets include Endeavour admission, and you can pay a small fee to reserve a set time for Endeavour, avoiding waiting in line.
