The basics

The small and family-operated Wrath Wines exemplifies the creative spirit of California’s many pioneering wineries—even its name is a nod to “the might of nature and the passion of art.” Led by winemaker Sabrine Rodems, the winery cultivates its four primary varietals, and produces three lines: EX focuses on expressing the personality of its Certified Sustainable (SIP) estate vineyard; the Winemaker Series showcases different approaches to winemaking; and the flagship Single Vineyard Series celebrates the unique character of its various vineyards. Visitors wishing to drink overlooking the vines can visit the winery’s on-site tasting room in Soledad, 39 miles (63 kilometers) south of Monterey. Wrath Wines also operates a second tasting room, conveniently situated in central Carmel.

Wrath Wines is a popular stop for wine-loving visitors to California’s Central Coast, and, given that it maintains two tasting rooms, it’s easy to plan your own sampling session.
