A snow-coated wonderland perched high in the Vaud Alps of Western Switzerland, the Glacier 3000 resort is a one-stop destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Just an hour from Montreux, it offers spectacular mountain views, ample opportunities for hiking and skiing, and a huge range of adrenaline-fueled activities.
Although due to poor visability & that snow had been falling for days before, the bridge was closed. I was a bit disappointed but you can,t predict weather especially thay high up a mountain. I still enjoyed the experience of the trip.
Had a hassle-free, beautiful experience with my 10 year old. We went from Geneva to Col du pillion. From there we took the cable car to the top of Glacier 3000. We found plenty of snow even in June! It will be a memorable trip for me and my child. Thank you!
Great day, with an amazing guide, the vista at the height of 3000 metres was outstanding. The stop in the afternoon at Montreaux was another great Swiss experience, a beautiful town beside the lake.
The tour guides were awesome! Fun and informative, patient and kind! The guides made me feel comfortable asking questions and made sure you got what you were looking to get out of the adventure. The picnic they brought was fabulous and they were happy to see your excitement in the adventure.
It was a good experience and I am glad we did it. If you can drive yourself to the gondola, I recommend that. THe tour was mainly transportation to and from the hotel. The adventure was a self-guided experience. Beautiful views but the mountain coaster was shut down and the ride on the snow tractor was not operating. All we could do is ride the lift and walk around on snow...not what it was advertised.
Amazing trip! The views are breathtakingly beautiful from the drive up to the cable cars, to the top of the bridge and everything in between. It was partly cloudy but the clouds moved enough to get the spectacular views. Montreux is beautiful too. Thomas our guide was brilliant, very warm, friendly and funny. One of the most beautiful places I have ever been to.
