Travel through time to a forgotten age, across the Hudson River to Medieval Times. As you dig in to your “hands-on” 4-course dinner, music and brilliant lights provide the backdrop for a performance featuring heroic knights on spirited horses in a castle setting. Beforehand, stroll the Hall of Arms, watch the knighting ceremony, or check out the relics in the museum of torture.
Shows are popular, especially on Saturdays and holidays, so book your ticket in advance. Packages are available with perks such as VIP seating and group photos.
The ticket price includes both dinner and the 2-hour show.
Don’t expect eating utensils—you eat with your hands, just like in the 11th century.
Stop by the gift shop to find a medieval-themed keepsake.
Medieval Times is most easily reached by car. From New York City, take I-95 S to NJ-17 S. Parking on-site is free. Alternatively, take the 191, 192, or 199 bus from the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Get off at the Rutherford Avenue at Polito Avenue stop, and walk south for about five minutes until you reach Medieval Times, located at 149 Polito Avenue.
Medieval Times opens about an hour before the show begins. Seating is first come, first served, so arrive early.
Less than a 10-minute drive from Medieval Times, you’ll find MetLife Stadium—home of the New York Jets and New York Giants professional football teams. If you’re there on a Saturday, don’t miss the insider tour. Prebook your game ticket, and enjoy access to the press box, luxury suites, and field.
