Once used as shelter by the native Arawak Indians, the caves have since been employed as a hiding place for smugglers and runaway enslaved people, before serving as the site of a nightclub. Now, they're a Jamaican attraction you can tour in the company of a local guide.

The Rio Bueno river has many different moods, starting with some lazy river sections for you to sit back and relax, and followed by a range of fun filled class 1 and 2 rapids for you to quench your thirst for adventure.

Fun and Interesting
Our guide, Herman, made us feel relaxed and confident as he drove us from one activity to the next and shared interesting information about Jamaica in the process. He was easy to find when we were picked up and he returned us to the port in plenty of time to shop and return to the ship.
