Euromast

Parkhaven 20, Rotterdam, 3016 GM

The basics

There are various ways to experience the Euromast, whether it’s enjoying the views from its viewing deck and Euroscoop (lift to the top); savoring a coffee at its Deli cafe, dining at its elevated Brasserie restaurant; sleeping in a high-altitude hotel room, or abseiling down its exterior.

Prebook your ticket to the viewing platform and Euroscoop to save hassle during your Rotterdam stay. Alternatively, admire the tower—or visit its observatory—on walking, bike, or other tours that showcase additional Rotterdam must-sees. Hop-on hop-off buses stop outside the tower, city sightseeing passes offer discounted admission, and Rotterdam boat and amphibious-vehicle tours let you admire the tower from the water. It’s usually also possible to see the Euromast on multi-city day trips from Rotterdam, or combo tours that include harbor cruises and other attractions such as the Keukenhof Gardens.

When to get there

The Euromast is open year-round but gets busy in summer, so it’s wise to visit close to the opening time to avoid any admission lines. To enjoy the best views, head here at dusk or after dark, when the sunset—or the city lights—illuminate Rotterdam’s skyline and harbor.

Experience the Rotating Views from the Euromast’s Euroscoop

If you’ve got a head for heights, don’t miss a trip on the Euromast’s rotating Euroscoop. Accessed via an outdoor spiral staircase, this glazed elevator corkscrews up from the viewing platform and treats you to stunning, ever-changing panoramas along with commentary on the sights. On a clear day, the views can stretch to Antwerp, around 50 miles (80 kilometers) away.
