To better explore the less-touristy neighborhood of Triana, join a bike, walking, or hop-on hop-off bus tour. Or see the area and the bridge from the river by boat, kayak, or stand-up paddle board. In Triana, visit the Chapel of El Carmen, which boasts tiles produced in the neighborhood. Taste local food at the Triana Market, near the bridge in a Moorish Revival-style building constructed atop the Castle of San Jorge ruins.
The metal arches beneath the bridge no longer serve a structural purpose and are purely decorative.
On the Triana side of the bridge, you’ll find María Trifulca, commonly known as El Faro, a popular Seville restaurant.
For July's religious festival, Velá de Santiago y Santa Ana, locals cover the bridge with garlands and lanterns.
From Seville's tourist center, you can easily walk to the Triana Bridge, situated north of La Maestranza bullring. Several public bus routes stop near the bridge, and some guided bus and biking tours include visiting Triana. Taxis are also a convenient option for getting around Seville.
Travelers recommend heading to the bridge at dusk to catch the city lights as they twinkle against the water. During Holy Week, a procession of religious images, including Esperanza de Triana or El Cachorro, crosses the bridge. Note that Triana Market closes in the early afternoon and on Sundays.
