Airport Rd between the 4th and 5th intersections next to Sharjah International Airport, Sharjah

The Basics

Displays at the Sharjah Classic Cars Museum are divided into five sections: Early Autos (1915–1939); The Automobile Refined (1940–1959); New Heights of Innovation (1960–1987); Large Vehicles and United Arab Emirates (UAE) Motoring; and a temporary exhibition section, which sometimes shows vehicles on loan from the public. In addition to the vehicles, the museum has retro advertisements from each era, an interactive area for kids, and a driving simulator.

It’s easy to visit the Sharjah Classic Cars Museum independently, and tickets can be booked in advance to save time. For a hassle-free experience, upgrade to a tour that includes round-trip transfers from Dubai or Sharjah. Those planning on sightseeing in the emirate can join a half-day tour, which typically includes highlights such as the Museum of Islamic Civilization and the Blue Souk.
