The arched, 650-foot-long (198-meter) bridge sits 420 feet (128 meters) above the Zambezi River and connects Zimbabwe and Zambia. One of the best ways to experience the Victoria Falls Bridge is on a tram or steam train ride across the bridge. Many tours include dinner, wine tastings, and historical details about the bridge. Thrill-seekers can also get their fix by taking on the Gorge Swing, bungee jumping, or ziplining from the bridge. You can also view the bridge from above on a helicopter tour of the falls.

When to Get ThereIf you want to feel the spray of Victoria Falls from the bridge, visit in the wet season from December through early May. The river is much lower in the dry season (October and November), making the views of the falls and Zambezi River much less impressive.
