What To Expect

Choose a departure time that suits your schedule, then meet your captain at Amalfi’s Darsana Pier. Board your private boat for the day—you have the option to choose between an open boat, leisure boat, and larger yacht while booking—then cruise away from Amalfi and towards the island of Capri.

You’ll pass a series of elegant villas and fishing villages, with the option to stop for a swim at Li Galli, a tiny archipelago where the mythical Sirens sang to Ulysses.

When you arrive at Capri, choose to visit the island’s most famous sights passing Faraglioni Rock, the Blue Grotto (entry own expense), and more. Capri is perfect for spotting rock formations, and the captain can bring you to hidden coves that are perfect for jumping into the sea.

When you’re ready to lunch, head to shore for a meal in a seaside restaurant (own expense); the captain can help you find the perfect place to try a beloved local aperitif of white wine and peaches.

This private cruise concludes with return transfer to Amalfi.

One of our favorite parts of our trip all through Italy! Communication was fabulous with exclusive cruises and our captain was great as well. We chose to do the Amalfi coast tour rather than spending the day in capri and while it was all beautiful I wish we could have seen some grottos! If you chose to do the amalfi coast option just know there will be 3-4 swim spots but you won’t get to see the grottos as advertised. Regardless, we still loved our tour and will definitely be doing one again if we come back! We stopped for lunch at a delicious ocean front restaurant only accessible by boat and also were given complimentary Prosecco and snacks. No need to bring towels etc, everything is provided for you! Definitely would recommend to anyone :)

Just a Dream and the Wind to Carry Me

A tour by private boat from Positano to Capri was THE perfect way to spend my milestone birthday. Our captain, Michele (Michael), was fantastic! He was prompt, professional and highly skilled on the water. He gave us ample insight into the places we were visiting and expertly navigated us into tiny little coves that we would not have otherwise seen on the huge tourist vessels. The boat was immaculate and well stocked with snacks and beverages of both the leaded and unleaded varieties. Prosecco? Sure, don't mind if I do.

We had such a wonderful and special time on this trip. Francesco and as our skipper and he couldn’t have been better. He showed us wonderful landmarks all along the amalfi coast. He took plenty of pictures for us. I also appreciated all the special private swims. Definitely a special way to see Amalfi and I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the area in an intimate and unique setting.

Sergio was very safe captain with some rough seas in the morning. He made us feel very safe. He took us to many interesting spots along the Amalfi coast and allowed us to swim and snorkel along the coast of Capri. The scenery was amazing and it was a wonderful finish to our long vacation in Italy.

This was an amazing experience, so much fun! We hit all the spots. Our skipper Augusto was so kind and let us have time to see everything and swim! They provide towels and floats. I will say it runs on time so make sure you are there. Also it says alcohol included however it was only one bottle of prosecco, 2 beers and light snacks was one bowl of chips. So make sure to bring stuff if you want more.

Instead of Amalfi to Capri private tour it was a Amalfi coast boat tour. Davide and Lidia were very nice. Yet we wish no changes were made by them unless every spot promised by Viator were covered. We had an opportune to swim in random spots, we did have a drinks and small snacks but no LiGali spot, no Green, Red or Emerald grottos, no Capri island. At the very last moment we learned that all those spots were located around the Capri island. Similar local reputable companies were offering Amalfi Coast sightseeing tour with swim and drinks for the prices 69-100€ p/p. Yet we paid x3 more This is such an overpay😱😩 And we never get chance to see the Capri.

This was the highlight of our trip. Captain Flavio was awesome and very informative. We started in Amalfi where we were staying and saw many different towns by boat as we learned the history of them. We also stopped at a few places so our family can swim. Thereafter we went to Positano for lunch, which was our choice but they recommend great spots as well and headed back. The trip lasted about 6 hours and well worth every penny. By the way we upgraded to the speed boat last minute which was a great choice!

Umberto was a wonderful skipper and guide for the day. We toured slowly up and down the coast taking in the amazing views. As a local, Umberto shared information about the towns. We stopped to swim in 2 caves and jumped in the water off cliffs. We enjoyed a fantastic lunch at a restaurant accessible by boat and a swim. It was a wonderful day! Thank you!

Beautiful way to spend time on the Amalfi coast

Awesome day on the Amalfi Coast. Our captain Salvatore took us to several smaller coves where we could jump in and swim, enjoying the water without having to worry about the crowds. There was never any rush, he let us stay at each place as long as we wanted. The swimming areas were all quite different, making for an interesting day exploring the area. We saw the small waterfall, several caves, and also a few beach areas where we could get out and enjoy the waves. There were floats and goggles available, so we could also check out the pretty fish that swim off the shores. Our kids, 13 and 10, had an awesome time and we made a lot of great memories. We really recommend it!

Best day of our trip! We could not have enjoyed our day more. Valeria, the owner, was fantastic to work with. She communicated consistently and promptly online and then contacted me by phone the day before our trip to confirm all the details. She even arranged for a car transfer for us from our ship to Amalfi. Luigi, our captain, was engaging, knowledgeable, professional, and a lot of fun. An Amalfi local since birth, Luigi knew exactly where to take us. We saw beautiful grottos, jumped off a few cliffs, and had the most delicious lunch. Our open deck boat was pristine and very comfortable for our family of 4 (plenty of room for 6). The views up and down the coast were breathtaking. Worth every penny!

We had the best day with our Skipper, Tony! He was so accommodating and flexible with our group of 10 people. He took us to see all the highlights and found a quiet place for swimming. The communication prior to the tour and the days leading up to the tour was excellent. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Enjoyable Scenic boat tour of Amalfi Coast

We were picked up at our hotel dock and cruised up the coast enjoying the scenery. The captain crusied around Capri pulling into coves and grottos letting us enjoy the beauty of the island. We had prescotta wine and drinks on the boat and some snacks were provided. The captain suggested a great lunch restaurant in Nerano which was a beautiful seaside village.

The Amalfi Coast cruise capped off a wonderful 10-day tour of Italy. All five of our adult children and our son-in-law said that this was their favorite experience of the entire trip! Captain Samir and hostess Lucia gave us a thorough tour of the sights along the coast and Capri and took us to some nice places to swim. They were very accommodating with changes to our pick up and drop off locations. They helped to make it an amazing day on the water for us!

By any means necessary, take a private boat tour around the Amalfi Coast and Capri. It's worth every penny (or Euro!)

Our private boat tour from Amalfi, around the island of Capri was unforgettable in the best ways. First, our captains were excellent. They gave us interesting facts about the things we saw and were able to get us up close and inside of several cool grottos along the route. The best part was pulling into a small cove area with bright blue water and jumping in to swim. There were no other boats around so the water was calm and although freezing cold, we had some goggles to go under into a huge school of blue fish. It was absolutely surreal. Cannot recommend doing this enough! Pictures cannot begin to describe the views you get to see. We were given a bottle of wine and snacks. We also stopped at one of the small towns for a tasty Italian seafood lunch (extra cost). This will be a non-negotiable expense for us on every trip to the Amalfi coast from now on!
