Overview

Add some excitement to your Antalya vacation on a 9-hour rafting tour along the Koprucay River. Comfortable transportation takes you from your lodgings to Koprulu Canyon. After a rafting safety briefing, enjoy a scenic 4.4-mile (7 km) journey down stream. Break for lunch, then continue a further 4.4 miles. By far one of the best experiences we had as a group of 4 people, you can pay extra to have the raft to yourself and get video footage. Guide was absolutely brilliant. Have already got this planned to do next year again with the kids

After reading other's reviews, my husband and I knew what we were gettign ourselves into. Discount rafting that had some toxic masculinity. While it didn't bother me too much, it should be noted. The raft guides constantly made jokes about the women being babies and should be in the kitchen doing dishes. The water was freezing and 2 of the people in the raft could not swim. Our raft guide threw them all overboard and one large man who already told the guide he couldn't swim began to panic. I use to be a guide back in the states, so I got him and 2 others safely in the raft. Throughout the trip, guests kept thanking me for saving them. Since we didn't do the zip line or "jeep tour", which everyone said was a joke anyway, we were forced to wait alot of our trip for others. Not that big of a deal but with no drinking water it was rather hard. They advertised 8 hours, granted if we DIDN'T have a flat tire in our van, it would have still be 11 hours. Our driver got a flat, and a new bus came within 45 mins. Overall, it was an alright trip but these things should be noted for anyone going. It said kid friendly but there was so much chain smoking that I would not be ok with a kid near the guides.

Needs better organization

The people organizing the activity are really nice, but unfortunately it is organized badly. They provide rafting and other activities altogether as well and do them one after other. So if you only booked one or 2 activities, you have to wait until others finish and join you. The breaks between rafting are also used to fit in more activities. So it was overall a lot of waiting around (8 hrs total) to do a 1 hour activity. Price is cheap though, so can't complain much, but still wasted a lot of time.

This trip is just about waiting. River and nature is amazing, but organisation is terrible. Whole day trip just for 2 hours of rafting (net time). Bad communication - no English, or German guide.

Thanks for your review. We will explain programme of Rafting 1- Transportation takes minimum 1-2 hours to arrive rafting area. Before rafting you must take equipments and safety information about 30-45 minutes. Start to drive by boat takes about 30- 45 minutes. The guests paddle down about 14 km. 30-45 minutes lunch time. To watch aftermovie and photos are available to purchase, it takes 30 minutes. Return way is again 1-2 hours (it's dependent on your destination). Basicly net time is 2 hours for Rafting you are right. But we think the experience was nice and you have good memory. We would wait for you; pick up was at the time, lunch service, the cost for this experience, about our staff. We mean that it's not only about rafting partner, we mean for all the rafting companies. 2- Unfortunately If you join from Alanya or Kemer area, the most of guests are Russian and language the same. If you join to boat with Russian people, it was not our mistake. And Russian people also humen. For example in Side area most of people from Europe and Russian people complain for European people too. Of course we are trying to understand all people and we are doing our job excellent . But I think we must respect all nationality and to be kind and have patience. Don't forget you are on holiday and enjoy every day. Because we are serving for each languages for each rafting boats. We think that this experience doesn't deserve 1 * . We wish to you a nice holiday

Great fun and enjoyment. The cool waters cool you down on a hot day. You can leave your wallet and phone in the bus to avoid water damage. You pay for snacks and drinks on the raft trip on tab with the raft guide.

Für die ganze Familie geeignete Raftingtour, vor allem, wenn man so etwas noch nie gemacht hat. Wir haben schon ein paar Touren in unterschiedlichen Ländern hinter uns und dies war der "zahmste" Fluss. Was nicht heißen soll, dass es keinen Spaß gemacht hätte. Man muss über unebenes Gelände laufen können und darf keine Probleme mit kaltem Wasser haben (vor allem die Füße sind die ganze Zeit kalt, sonst gibt es keine Voraussetzungen. Unterwegs gibt es Sacks und Getränke, die man am Ende bezahlt, aber außer für die Zipline werden keine Preise genannt - aus gutem Grund. Sie sind deutlich überhöht. Da man die Tour selbst sehr günstig bekommt, gleicht sich das aus. Abzug gibt es von mir für den Transfer. Über 1/2 h Verspätung und ein Fahrer, bei dem man froh war, wenn er wenigstens eine Hand am Steuer hatte. Die Organisation hätte deutlich besser sein können. Unser Guide sprach gut deutsch und englisch.
