Well organized. About a 30 minute bus ride (our driver Jerome was great, he gave a lot of information about the island while driving and had an all around great attitude) and then catch a 5 minute boat ride to stingray city. The stingrays were big and friendly. The whole staff were great and really ensure everyone feels safe and has a good time. We did the three hour excursion, which includes travel time, so this only leaves you with the stingrays for about an hour, but I found it to be more than enough. We had a three year old with us and everything went smoothly.

Fantastic must do

Fantastic experience. Our guide Giuliana was knowledgeable and informative. Collected us at the exact time given. She looked after us and lent us swim top that meant we wouldn't get burnt. A small group with the stingrays which I feel was better than too many people, it gave room for people to interact and space to snorkel. Fruit punch was delicious. Great photos also. Giuliana also gave us a certificate and a wrist band. Would recommend this trip to anyone and actually just have to a family so hopefully more bookings.

This experience made our trip to Antigua. Due to disability I can't walk distance and I'm always sceptical when tours say a minute walking distance. This really was a minute worth of walking. Giuliana was fantastic! She collected us from the hotel, made sure I was ok with the walking, but in a very genuine way while walking and having a laugh with us. We saw some beautiful views on the way to the stingray excursion. The experience itself was brilliant much better than we expected, we fed, stroked and held wild stingray which came to the area because they wanted to. I would say 100% do this trip with Guuliana. As I'd really like to go back and do it again.

Not a 3 hour excursion, maybe 2 if that.

I was so excited for this excursion. But is started with major confusion. The location on the map of where to go for pick up was not accurate. Luckily the guide saw us looking at our phones and asked my name as he was waiting for us. We got in the van and he asked our time for the tour and was surprised. Had a worried the entire ride. We were not informed of the 30 minute drive time therefore we needed to meet by a certain time. When we arrived the women at the check in was rude. Said she didn’t have a reservation for us and told us to just go sit down at the tables and she would be over. She never came back. Thank goodness our driver stayed. We sat around for 45 minutes and finally he asked another worker about us. Guy waved us over and took us over to sign in. This was not a 3 hour experience, maybe 2 hours if that. Straight boat ride out and back, nothing else. While the time in the water was wonderful overall this was a very disappointing excursion. Our driver was amazing though! He seemed to have helped get us on the tour and never left, he waited for us to go on the tour. Even he admitted it’s not a 3 hour tour.

Dear Wendy, yesterday you sent a request for a TOTAL refund because YOU DID NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE TOUR and AFTER I PROVIDED THE EVIDENCE THAT YOU MADE IT, will you write me this review? But how is it possible? 🤔 Let's say you tried and it went wrong! You never waited 45 minutes because they called me on the phone at 12:52 PM and you got on the boat at 1:00 PM. I have the passenger list signed directly by you, so how do we do it? IF YOU WANT TO DO THE TOURS FOR FREE AND THEN FAILING TO DO, SO THAT THE BEST THING IS TO DESTROY THE WORK OF OTHERS, I VERY MUCH HOPE NOT TO HAVE PEOPLE LIKE YOU IN THE FUTURE. NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN.

Our guide Guiliana was wonderful , proving snacks helping to take pictures and make sure we all had a great experience . This was the highlight of my Caribbean cruise , picked up from port and transported to stingray city where you are given safety info , followed by a great speedboat to small kind of island and them completely surrounded by stingrays of all sizes and beautiful fish . Didn’t feel rushed , back for some rum punch and then lovely drive back to port . Really great trip Thankyou x

Great half day, unbelievable experience

Let me summarize the activity for the 3 hour tour: *You'll be picked up by a guide and a taxi; the guide will be of your language choice. We stayed at Sandals and met another couple at a bar between our two resorts. The cab was prompt. *The cab ride takes 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Our driver did a great job pointing out landmarks and telling some history of Antigua. The roads there are very rough, so if you get motion sickness, plan ahead *Once we arrived, there was another wait while all the other tours arrived at the central location. This place had food, drink, essentials, souvenirs (hats/tees/etc) for sale for cash or credit. There's a short orientation & waiver signing with this company (maybe it was run by Antigua?) and we set off *In the water, the 2nd company took official photos. We grabbed our iPhone and our guide took pics for us *After the rays took off (about an hour), we set back for refreshments and the chance to review the official photos, which were on sale for $15 (again, cash or credit). While this was going on, you could go back on/off the boat to get your phone for photos, get snorkel equipment, or take a break *While people reviewed the photos, the sting ray city company served rum punch, regular punch, and water. This was also the time you could use the restroom and change if you brought. *It was then the same cab ride back. The end to end for us was about 4 hours Our guide and driver were both excellent. She brought rash guards and sunscreen in case you forgot anything and helped out in and out the water with photos. She also gave us little take homes in the form of a rubber wristband and an "official" I swam with the rays card What I wished I knew beforehand - if you want to tip everyone or want sting ray city merchandise, plan ahead since it's driver, guide, and the string ray company. Very minor, but worth mentioning Finally, if you plan to do this with kids - there were little ones there in life vests. The water was about 3.5-4 feet deep and an adult or 10+ year old could probably walk around just fine. Little ones will need help because the current there was pretty strong and the 5 year olds did not like the fact that the rays just bumped into them while they swam. Hope that helped plan your day, I highly recommend it. If you have a submersible camera, then absolutely bring that!!!

This tour felt a lot like “let’s overcrowd this boat… okay everyone jump in the water… okay here’s a few stingray! Okay, everyone back in the crammed boat let’s go!” - and kind of like “ok we’re here, now what?” Swimming with stingray is cool because it’s different - but I wouldn’t do it again.

Valentina was an amazing guide! She has traveled all over the world and has some wonderful stories. When we got to the stringrays, the water was crystal clear and the guides for this were hilarious and helpful. Great for kids too. I am so glad we went! I have a new love for stingrays 😂

I didn’t care for my tour guide honestly. She didn’t try to take pics or videos and when I asked her she did with the GoPro but then it died. I didn’t get any good shots. Her response was this excursion is not for pictures but an experience. She’s entitled to her opinion but could have been remorseful we are on vacation what’s an experience without memories a refund or Half off would be nice

IN THE description of the tour THERE IS NOT WRITTEN ANYWHERE THAT WE TAKE PHOTOS OR PHOTO shootings. If a guest wants to take or asks for some pictures we can do some for free but cannot expect the guide to do it as a proper full photo shooting. If there is an opportunity, willingly but you can't expect and above all JUDGE our work just for this! We make sure that everything is perfect and that it reflects what is written in the description of any tours, if the guest wants to take 100 photos, no problem but it cannot be blamed on us. War eine super Erfahrung. Die Tourguides waren sehr bemüht, uns vor den Massen zu den Rochen zu bringen, so dass wir in Ruhe Fotos machen und mit ihnen schwimmen konnten. Der Platz befindet sich auf einer Sandbank, so dass man stehen kann. Man kann selbst eine Kamera mitnehmen oder man kann sich fotografieren lassen, wobei die Fotos dann Geld kosten. Alles in allem war es eine tolle Erfahrung und auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.
