Overview

Spend half a day exploring the great outdoors in Antigua with this group tour. You'll kayak through a lagoon in a mangrove until you reach a private beach. From here, it's off to the Cades Reef by boat, where you'll spend time snorkeling before returning to the beach for an optional lunch.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

The kayaking was beautiful and relaxing. The reef snorkeling was a first for us but we tried and the tour guide Andrew was patient. The boat driver was awesome super funny and kind. Thank you guys for making our trip an enjoyable one.

A very nice day ! A big thank you to all the team for making this a great experience. Especially a massive thanks to Andrew Reid who made our day even more special with the small details like sourcing black pineapple for us to try and very friendly/informative infos about Antigua. Kayaking in the mangrove was very cool, followed by the snorkeling on the reef where we saw a stingray and a barracuda. Great day and would highly recommend this tour.

Fun time through the mangrove

My fiance and I had such a fun experience during this excursion. It started with getting picked up by our land tour guide, Andrew. He was so kind and shared some cool tidbits about Antigua while we made our way to the destination. Once we arrived, we did a short kayak through the mangrove towards a small little beach area. There, we were picked up by the captain and taken to our snorkel site (boat ride was about 15 mins or so). We were told that we weren't sure we'd see many fish because of the weather, but it turned out that we saw a ton! The reefs there were a pretty bad shape due to bleaching from the sun, but even with that, we saw tons of cool fish. Snorkeling lasted about 30 mins and then we made our way back towards the beach. My fiance and I were able to have some snacks (rum punch, banana bread, beef patty, etc) and then we made our way back through the mangrove. Very fun and all the staff were amazing!

Super trip. From collection and a jeep ride across the Island, to the serene paddle through the mangroves, gorgeous snorkelling on the reef and relaxed lunch on the beach, it was a brilliant trip with friendly and knowledgeable guides.

Do not hesitate to book this excursion. We had a really good time! Our pickup time has miscommunication, but we knew that island time is a factor, so sweat. After arrival, we were treated with respect, patience, and kindness. We kayaked, snorkeled and had light refreshments. At no point was this experience negative. I highly recommend the tour.

Don't hesitate - just book it!!! We had an amazing experience from the start to the end. We were on a cruise and the pick up was a very short walk from the cruise port. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff. If you can book the half day tour, you are given a snack and some (by some, I mean a fair bit) of rum punch. Just to note, the snorkeling is a fair way out by boat and the current is rather strong in order to get the the reef. When we came back in from snorkeling we were able to just spend some time lingering in the ocean with the most amazing views. Well worth the money spent.

From being picked up by Andrew No2 at the hotel from being safely returned after a trip around the island thrown in I'd say everyone must try it. Andrew No1, Andrew and Alex made the day of kayaking and snorkeling on the reef a great experience right down to the light lunch on the beach. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip

We were a small group so we had great attention to details. The tour guide had lots of info for us and showed us many things on our way to and from the mangroves. The kayaking thru the mangroves was easy and pleasant, our boat captain for the snorkel portion assured us he had just got his license thru you tube (wink wink) and the snorkeling was great.

Extraordinary tour of mangroves, snorkeling, & a short hike w/a view after delicious refreshments! Raymond, Jensen, Kevon, Sativa, & James gave us a memory of a lifetime. James was an unbelievable guide snorkeling & the video is spectacular of him with us underwater. We saw so many fish & turtles! They looked after us and couldn’t have been more friendly. Thank you!

This excursion was definitely the highlight our trip! We were traveling with another family, 8 of us in total. From beginning to end everything was amazing. Satchel and Alexis picked us up in the jeep and had some fun commentary along the way. Kayaking through the mangroves was so much fun and we felt safe the whole time. The currents were a little struggle in the ocean for the snorkeling part but our guides were with us along the way. Sativa, James, Kevon and all the others were so friendly and kind the whole time. I highly recommend this trip!

Picked up by Raymond holding a sign with my name on it at the cruise dock. After a 20min drive where he told us things about the island, we arrived at the mangroves. Had a little briefing (safety first 👍🏼) and the chance to apply bugspray and sunscreen before heading out to the kayaks. (No bugs of flies noticed btw) We went through the lagune to a private beach. Another kayak made water and tilted, crew was very helpful for this couple. From the (beautiful) private beach we took a boat to the reefs for snorkeling. 🐠 Accompanied by 2 of the crewmembers we went out into the water, they guided us through the reefs and even pointed out a big sea turtle on the bottom of the sea! After snorkeling we got a drink and headed out to the beach for a little lunch. With the kayaks we went back to the startingpoint before we were taken back to our cruiseship by the jeep. We loved it! 🌱🤍

Brilliant, brilliant day. Picked up from our hotel on time by lovely informative Travis. He gave us lots of interesting information enroute to Cades bay and showed us other beaches too. The socoho estate is very pristine and leads down to the mangroves. We kayaker through the mangroves and came out on a beautiful beach where our dive instructor was awaiting us with the boat. We kayaked for an hour over the reef seeing stingrays, puffa fish, trumpet fish everything you could imagine it was amazing. Coming back to shore We saw turtles and had a picnic on the beach before walking up to the viewpoint and kayaking back. Best trip of our holidays and lovely to have smaller parties. Definitely recommend.

Kayaking through mangroves is quite surreal and a little Harry Potter. Lovely. The trip on to the reef was also lovely and we saw octopi in a very peaceful setting. Think the leaders could have given us a little more background on what we were seeing and made the snorkling expedition a little more inspiring. Still, a very nice company on Cades beach and a beautiful setting. Think they will go from strength to strength

The tour was great from start to finish. The ride across the island was very enjoyable. The driver "Flavor" was very informative. He narrated the entire drive, giving us info about the geography and culture of the island. The kayaking was great and we snorkled at an amazing reef. All of the guides are great! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Antigua outside of the "resort".
