    Bus trip with viewing stops

    Most of the day was spend in the bus and switching from guides. The one day tour is mostly long bus rides with short viewing stops. The canyon is beautiful and the springs are nice but this is not the way to experience the canyon.

    It’s an extremely long day. A 3am start that ends at 7:30pm and you spend most of it in a bus. There’s not much any tour operator can do to avoid it but the first bus which you spend 5-6 hours on is a small bus and it’s pretty cramped. Each stop is beautiful but a little rushed. I didn’t mind the urgency but others will. The highlight is the condors and people on a two day tour only get 30 minutes, which isn’t enough. The food is polar opposites. The breakfast was a disgrace, while the buffet was pretty good. They were awkward about taking credit card despite advertising it but most pay cash. The hot springs are great fun and there’s also ziplining which looked enjoyable. The second bus was a luxury bus and very comfortable. However, it’s hard to relax when the bus guide spends most of the journey trying to sell tours. The views were absolutely essential. I would do it again but I’d be prepared for a long and uncomfortable day
    Almost no time for viewing and enjoying

    Lart from Puno to colca canyon and at canyon: Long travel for being stressed on that only 20-30min trail. No ti.e to actually sit and look. Alone using the restroom takes 17min wait time for a woman. So no other time left to enjoy the view that you travel for. The guide was stressful. Also, not much time at hotsprings.

    The tour was soooo rushed. They tried to squeeze too many stops in so you only ever got to spend a bit of time at each one of them. Overall it felt like we spent more time in the bus driving around than seeing things. The pick up was quite late. We got told to be ready between 3-3:30am. We got picked up at 4am. While we were waiting we tried to contact them. Tried multiple phone numbers without any luck. The guide tried really hard to make it enjoyable but the poor guy had a really difficult task at hand. Or maybe impossible. The transfer to Puno was great though. We got put on a different bus which had business class-like seats which you could recline. That made the 6 hrs to Puno quite enjoyable. Overall I would say it was very expensive for the rush we’ve been put through and I would not recommend it.

    All went well, they picked us up punctually and everything was well organized. We had a great tour guide and also the change to the connecting bus worked great. Everyone was super friendly and we could also arrange everything upfront via WhatsApp.

    It was nice trip we saw few condors, the hot springs were awesome, and we saw alot of vicunas, alpacas and lamas on the way to Puno

    The onlusten way to go from Arequipa to Puno in one day- iT was a long trip, but especially the morning part was worth while. Seeing the condors flyung clos boy was amazing.
