What To Expect

Your full-day Aruba 4x4 adventure takes you to two of the island’s most popular coastal sites: the Natural Pool and Baby Beach. Meet your guide for a safety briefing before taking off in a caravan of Land Rovers.

Take a seat in your open-air vehicle—designed with extra-cushioned seats for a comfortable ride—and set out toward Arikok National Park, a protected preserve that makes up almost 20 percent of the island. En route, stop for photo ops of historical and natural landmarks including the California Lighthouse on Aruba’s northern end. Hear about the island’s gold-prospecting days at the Gold Mill Ruins and view Natural Bridge, a limestone formation on the northeast coast that collapsed in 2005.

Around midday, enjoy a homemade barbecue lunch and then continue to traverse rugged terrain through the national park to the Natural Pool, a coastal swimming hole accessible only to 4WD vehicles. With free time here, snap on your provided snorkel and mask to explore the pool formed by volcanic rock, and refresh with a cool beverage.

Departing the Natural Pool, travel by Land Rover to Baby Beach, a crescent-shaped stretch of shoreline located on Aruba’s southern coast. Enjoy more free time to relax at this Caribbean paradise, using your snorkeling gear to explore the marine life in the shallow, tranquil waters.

On the way back, stop at a few other cultural landmarks including the Alto Vista Chapel and Anchor in Memory of All Seamen for a few photo opportunities.

Amazing guides and a great experience for families

This was an amazing experience for my family. My husband and I love Aruba, but this was our first time bringing our 4 children (ages 5, two almost 13, and a 15 year old) . This tour is a great way to experience the diverse landmarks within this beautiful island. For families with small children, this tour is a great substitute for exploring areas that you can not otherwise see without renting the large UTVs. PLUS JD and Tony were exceptional guides and hosts. They told us the great details and history of the island, while making us feel like family. They were funny and had a great charismatic flair. My son, who is 5, asked many questions, and Tony answered them all, making my son feel important. By the end of the trip, my son felt like Tony was one of his close friends. My teenagers were even impressed (not easy to do IFYKYK) Thank you JD and Tony for the great day!

A trio of tour guides, Alejandro, Donny and JD were fantastic. Alejandro will as act a photographer and take the best pictures. Saw the entire island with plenty of stops and the best snorkeling at Baby beach lead by Donny. Even lunch at the ABC restaurant was delicious.

If you are lucky to have Ray (of sunshine) as your tour guide, you will have the BEST time!!!!! He was a historian, race car driver, care taker, singer, Aruba loving citizen alllll wrapped in one! We had such a blast with him, I want to thank ABC adventures for such a great employee!!!!!

Our tour guide and driver Bogo was wonderful and made the trip really fun. We saw a beautiful scenery and got a good story about each of our stops. The food at the restaurant at lunchtime was certainly better than when I expected, and our waitress jellybean was friendly and helpful.

Great tour! Our guides were informative, fun, and helpful. Bogo was our driver - he was great at maneuvering the roads. Snorkeling at Baby Beach was the best part. Unfortunately we couldn't swim in the natural pool because it was closed due to rough waters, so definitely keep in mind that could happen.

The guide Ken was great. He was funny and had lots of energy making the day experience fun. Seeing the whole island and its main parts of history were great. Would have been 5 stars but we paid extra to go into the park and the natural pool was closed. We were able to see it and get pictures but not able to go in the water. That’s not the fault of the tour company but still a downer that it was something we paid extra for and didn’t get to do it.
