The tour was very basic and merely descriptive of what we were seeing. The guide did not share interesting stories and facts about the city and its sights. It was quite shallow, we could learn more on Wikipedia.

It was a totally amazing experience with our tour guide Francesca. She was friendly, patient, kind, and knowledgeable. Assisi is like being in heaven while here on earth. It is peaceful, beautiful and spiritual. This tour brought out some of the main highlights that we wanted to see and experience. There is much more to do but in one day this tour was perfect. Amazing! Highly recommend this tour, especially with Alessandra. She was so knowledgeable and kept us all interested the entire time. It was a 3 hour tour but it flew by, we learned so much about St.Francis, and Saint Clare as well as the beautiful artwork of Assisi.

My wife and I recently stayed in Assisi as part of our 2-week exploration and travels in Umbria. We generally do not take tours in the places that we visit, but felt that Assisi and the Basilica deserved one. What a pleasure it was to walk around the city and through the grand church with Simona, our friendly and VERY knowledgeable guide. She pointed out and educated us about things that the typical guidebook would probably had skipped or passed over. The tour was nice and personal as there was just one other couple on the tour with us. We are really glad that we decided to book this tour and would certainly recommend it to others.
