- A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
- On Sundays, big Catholic holidays and National holidays, guided tours inside the Basilica of St. Francis ar forbidden. Your guide will explain to you the church from outside, and you will enter alone on silence.
- This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

This tour was canceled the night before we were scheduled to take it. We were scheduled for the morning and they offered to do the tour in the afternoon, but we had a train to catch.

My guide was Michele and it was a fantastic tour. We saw the most important parts of the town and I was able to learn about the history of St Francis. I appreciated how Michele shared so much information with me about Giotto and the various artwork that I was looking at. The trip to Assisi was the highlight of my time spent in Italy

Francesca gave us a lovely tour. We enjoyed the history she provided as we walked through the town. Touring during Christmas holiday is beautiful, but the Basilica of Saint Francis was extremely crowded and difficult to navigate.
