Overview

Approximately 45 minutes southwest of Austin lies the Driftwood/Wimberley area of the Texas Hill County. Here, you'll find rustic charm, winding roads, rolling hills, and amazing wine. You'll travel in a Mercedes Sprinter van and friendly local guide with a maximum of 10 people. Sample the wines and soak in the ambiance at three award-winning wineries (tasting fee not included.) Tour is 4.5 hours, leaving at 1:30, returning at 6 pm.
  • Enjoy the green rolling hills, charming ambiance, and rustic charm of Texas Hill country
  • Try out 100% Texas grown wines, made with old world processes and 21st century technology
  • Visit Dutchman Family Winery, Wimberley Valley Winery, and Limestone Terrace Vineyard

  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Evan was a wonderful guide. Learned everyone’s names immediately and encouraged all to tell about themselves, etc. Wineries were all interesting and nice. Didn’t know previously that Texas had such a large wine making business. I had difficulty finishing that much wine, one place had rather big “pours” for tasting. All in all would recommend tour.

Great day spent in the hill country. We enjoyed all 3 wineries. Our tour guide Evan did an excellent job...he was both entertaining and informative! He brought great energy all day. The Mercedes Sprinter van was a great vehicle to travel in too! Highly recommend this tour.

A fun afternoon visiting 3 wineries. Each winery had good wine, allowed you to customize your tasting and were very friendly. The area is very beautiful even in February. Our driver/guide Holman, was exceptional, just the right level of interaction and commentary. He shared some really interesting facts and also gave some recommendations for clubs and bars. Highly recommend.

Took this trip to kick off a romantic Christmas weekend in Austin and it did not disappoint! Can't say enough about our guide, Kandace, who kept us thoroughly entertained throughout the whole experience - she could be a professional comedian! Getting to the wineries was a little bit of a drive, but there are some sights to be seen along the way in the hill country. The tastings themselves were an experience all unto themselves and if you're not careful, you'll be tipsy before you know it! Pace yourselves! Plenty of photo ops and spending opportunities for souvenirs, if that's your thing. Take a group or make friends along the way, but a good time will be had!
