Jonathan was an amazing tour guide that knows and loves the lake. He truly takes the time to explain why it is so important to preserve the lake and the history of its existence. He loves the lake as if it was a family member and shows you parts of it that are left unseen by many other tours. Support Jonathan and his efforts to preserve this precious ecosystem!

Very pleasant and exciting boat tour! Totally recommend it. The boat is in good condition, very friendly tour guide and all information about biosphere and culture provided. Compared to other tours it gives you the whole ride of the lagoon, and is flexible regardin individual wishes ( where to snorkel etc.) One of the best experiences of our trip.

Great tour of southern part of lagoon. Jonathan is very knowledgeable and passionate about the lagoon and its ecology.
Tour description says that it goes to Los Rapidos, which it does but you cant get close enough to ride the river.

This was a great tour of Lake Bacalar. I felt like I was visiting the lake with a friend, and not with a comercial tour. We were able to visit many different places and could dive in areas that had no one but us. We considered doing the sailboat tour but indeed with the fast boat you can visit more places. Jonathan was very informative and I also appreciated how conscious he is about preserving the lake. After the tour of the lake we also had a swim with snorkels in a river (which was our meeting point) connected to the lake, where Jonathan took pics with the gopro, which he later sent to us. The tour was a nice, chilled experience and we felt Jonathan was willing to adapt to our needs and wishes. Also, the sandwiches given as the snack were delicious and home made! I definitely recommend this tour!

Die Tour ist lohnenswert und sollte man unbedingt den anderen vorziehen. Wir hatten davor bereits mehrere Touren in der Lagune gebucht. Diese ist aber wirklich die beste, da man an Orte fährt die man sonst nicht sieht. Das Boot ist nicht das neueste aber vollkommen in Ordnung. Wir würden die Tour immer wieder buchen. Man sieht und erlebt einfach mehr. Nur zu empfehlen!

Le lieux est magnifique … exceptionnel … et l’organisation permet de profiter de tout, au maximum.
Notre capitaine/guide, Jonathan, a été parfait : culture, connaissance des lieux, amabilité, gentillesse … il a vraiment beaucoup donné et nous lui en sommes reconnaissant.
