Armando is an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He provided great information and historical context to help us understand all that we saw during the day. He also shared his general knowledge about the region as someone raised in the area.

Good tour, the combination of jungle + ruins is perfect.
Shanty is a great guide with a super positive attitude.
One recommendation though:
- at lunch, the food was great, no complaints there, but going to a fancy resort hotel for lunch, feels off for this culture-themed tour. Would have preferred lunch in a more... authentic, down-to-earth setting, possibly supporting a local business.

guide never showed. never went on tour so unsure if it is good or not. when i used their contact information that day, i received no reply. when i filed a claim, i was told the address for pickup, which i verified with google maps as well as the front desk of the hotel, was wrong. no refund issues.

Beautiful ruins in a quiet environment (very few tourists come here). Not too long driving. The guide was very nice and interesting.
Do note that as of Jan 2022, the scheduled restaurant no longer accepts guests outside of the hotel so we are going to another restaurant in Bacalar.

It was great but there was a third person that we did not know and they show up in a regular sized taxi cab, the driver and guide were very nice and the lunch was delicious but it was hard being squished into a cab for several hours, but overall I would do it again !!

Die Tour und der Guide Lorenzo waren fantastisch. Wir hatten einen tollen, wahnsinnig informativen Tag - Lorenzos Wissen über die Maya, Pflanzen und Tiere hat uns sehr beeindruckt! Wir mochten, dass diese Ruinen im Dschungel liegen, sodass man dort auch eine gute Chance auf Affen oder exotische Vögel hat.
Der Touranbieter war nicht zuverlässig in der Kommunikation und sie haben uns tatsächlich am gebuchten Tag einfach nicht abgeholt. Wir waren flexibel, aber nervig war es trotzdem. Wenn möglich, die Tour direkt über die Guides buchen.
