Great informative tour!

Fun food tour! Got a taste of Bar Harbor culture and food. Randy was a fun guide. Go hungry! Really enjoyed this tour with a small group.

First of all I’ve been on half a dozen other food tours and in comparison this was a lot of food! Come hungry! We didn’t eat dinner that night because we were still full! We enjoyed our tour guide Renee as she provided history of the area as well as suggestions for eateries other than those we tasted on the actual tour. We enjoyed a blueberry soda, a lobster roll slider, blueberry cake, the most delicious crab cake, half an Italian sandwich served with chips, olive oil & balsamic vinegar tasting where we received a gift of a small bottle of either vinegar or olive oil and ended with ice cream. The tour was 3 hours and primarily places near the village green. I would definitely recommend this tour for folks new to the area!

Laura was a wonderful guide ushering us around Bar Harbor to out of the way gems of places all while giving a vibrant narration of the history of the area. We genuinely enjoyed our time with her!

Great food, nice variety and generous portions

If you love food with a side of history, this tour is for you! We started with a blueberry soda, then had lobster sliders and blueberry cake with a spectacular view. Then, we stopped for the best crab cakes we'd ever had, and then an out-of-this-world Italian sandwich. We also sampled incredible oils and vinegars before our last stop: ice cream!

Wonderful tour guides and amazing food. It’s always nice to start our trips with a food tour to get a sense of what’s good and get a nice guide to the town history as well. Our guides did a great job with both of these points and kept a good pace, especially having a flexible itinerary due to the rainy and windy day!

The walk around the town and stopping for a little bit to eat was nice and our first time doing something like this. We will do this again in other cities. Also enjoyed the tour guide use of pictures to share and enhance the discissions

This experience was great! We tried foods and restaurants that we probably wouldn't have tried on our own. The group was small which was a bonus. My wife and I are somewhat locals and still had a really great time. Would recommend!

Disappointed and not worth price

Our guide was a lovely gent. But food choices were not worth the charge per person. We agreed we were disappointed by the tour - based on cost. I don’t think the choice of food at a deli- any of us could go to at home- was a worthwhile part of the tour. The food choices really need more thought. Overall- disappointed. Not worth the almost $700 cost for five of us. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Excellent tour guide, great choice of goods, wonderful area to explore. Only downside, meeting spot was not spelled out… meet in town square, when it was really at a clock across from a specific restaurant.

wonderful way to orient ourselves in Bar Harbor on our first day. The food was delicious! Best Italian sandwich I’ve ever tasted! Randy our tour guide was entertaining, had great recommendations, and shared all the history information as well! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour!

Charlie was a wonderful guide as he shared the interesting and rich history of the island. The tour included feasting on delicious local delights such as lobster sliders, clam chowder, italian sandwich (best we ever had) and ice cream!

Sat bt water for a food picnic. Great guide. Tacos were plain and sides were old,and tasteless. Lobster slider roll was dry but blueberry cider and yeberry bread were great.
