Best excursion of Belize with Earl!

I thoroughly enjoyed my excursion with Earl as he toured me around his country. Earl was a polite, articulate, and knowledgeable young man who took me on both the North and South side of his country. I was excited to see the Marion Jones sports park as well as the Olympic training center. Earl took me to his former high school where I met his teachers and his mom! I enjoy the Belizean bits and drink included with the tour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the real Belize!

Peter was a great host. We really enjoyed learning about Belize City a tasting the local cuisine. The rum factory was also a highlight.

Very misleading and disappointing

We were very disappointed with this tour. We had 4 adults and a child under 2 years old. They drove us in a sedan and our baby needed to be placed on our lap as we drove through a chaotic city. The first stop was way too busy and loud. We couldn’t stay long. Aside from some fruit we got at a roadside fruit stand, we did not have any other “bites.” The title was incredibly misleading. We did not get a tour of a rum factory. We went to a liquor store and had to pay for a rum tasting on our own (not included in the price of tour). The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable, but I would not do this tour again. I do not recommend this tour for anyone.

This tour turned out to be quite disappointing. Our group of eight was assigned an old and worn-out minivan. After departing the port, the driver was instructed to return for two additional passengers, making the overcrowded minivan uncomfortable. Despite the lack of space, we had to pay for the extra persons. Midway through the tour, the minivan's air conditioning failed, and despite the inconvenience, the driver couldn't find a replacement vehicle. The tour was cut short, and upon return to the port, we were still pressured to pay for the two additional passengers.

Thank for your review. Would like to start off by apologizing about the ac stop working while the tour was ongoing. Would also appreciate if you would be more honest about the situation the van you got was a 14 passenger van and not a minivan..A minivan couldn't hold 8 persons sir, Also it was your idea not ours to pay for 2 extra persons so please don't say we pressured you to pay.

Great city and food tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the city and country, and had answers to all of our questions. Eating in the car for one of the stops was a little bit of a challenge but food was great overall!

It was fine, you spend 98% of the time in a van. They stop at one restaurant, but make you eat the food in the van, which is a nightmare because they are driving while you're eating; watch out for pot holes!

No contact was received from the vendor/service provider. We were not able to take the tour. We booked within an hour and a half of the meeting time, which is short notice, but why accept the reservation if you were not going to show up nor communicate Where exactly to meet. There was no sign with my name on it.

What a fun trip. Kenton was the highlight for us. He is a very knowledgeable and engaging guide with a great sense of humor. He treated us like royalty and made the tour fun. Didn’t get to many foods: one hole-in-the-wall burrito stand and one fruit stand. At least the car was air conditioned and the guide was great. Got a good feel for the country.

Great little tour

This is a nice tour of all the hot spots of Belize City including the good, the bad and the ugly. Manuel was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and super proud of his local heritage. He showed us every facet of everyday life and even stopped to buy us some local street foods and ice cream. It's a nice short tour that leaves plenty of time to shop in port. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. Happy we did it. Thanks Manuel!
