This was amazing! Our tour guide Fernando was so informative and hilarious. Highly recommend! And the food at the end was delicious.
Great ATM cave experience

My husband and I wholeheartedly enjoyed our ATM cave adventure. It can seem intimidating at times but the guides were so helpful and made sure we were always safe. We were picked up on time and the lunch was delicious. We highly recommend this tour.

The cave was spiritual, the crystal clear water flowing through the cathedral like caverns was awe inspiring, and our guide, Patrick, was the perfect choice for this Indiana Jones/ archeological tour experience.
We learned a lot and got our workout in!

Our driver was great, our tour guide was fantastic and the site was out of this world. Our tour guide has been guiding in this cave for 20 years and we learned a ton from him. Our driver also has worked with archaeologists so that was really cool to learn about on the drive in. This trip is not for the faint of heart, though. We loved it but we’re in pretty good shape. There is some intense climbing and squeezing between rocks. It was the highlight of our trip to Belize.
Bait and switch on price, but pretty awesome day trip

I'll start with the bad because it made me mad. They texted me the day before the trip and told me since I'm only one person I had to give them an extra $75 US to come pick me up in Belize City. They would not budge on the money, and it was too late to book something else. I paid it since this might be my only chance to do the tour. Since most travelers aren't solo its probably irrelevant. The tour itself is pretty amazing! Its a super easy hike about 2 miles to the caves. The caves are fun spelunking with quite a bit of climbing and water. The artifacts are pretty neat. No pics allowed. You need socks for part of it where they make you take your shoes off. Might want to bring a long sleeve rash guard. It got a little chilly getting in and out of water. Just do it!!
Absolute Best way to experience the cave!

This is the absolute best way to experience the cave! Believe me! Dr. Raf is a legend. The vip trip was amazing. He got us in before the crowds and we learned so so much. Dr. Raf is one of the original archeologists who explored the cave and has led the research and training of many of the other guides. If you’re unsure about paying extra for the private trip, just do it. Otherwise you will be in a big group possibly waiting on others or hurrying to keep up. Private trip puts you at your pace. Not to mention a portion of the cost goes to funding schools! I can’t overstate how much this experience gave me. While learning about the history he was able to conjure up amazing ideas in my imagination about the possibilities of what happened in this cave. He gave us space to use our own imagination while giving us the best ideas of what the researchers know because he is one of the leading researchers himself.
