Overview

This tour will go in rain or shine. In the winter months, it can happen that the sea freezes in the innermost part of the fjord where there is a lot of fresh water mixed with the sea water, brackish water. If there is so much ice that there is no safe passage for boats, the captain will then choose an alternative route in this area. This is beyond our control and it does not give grounds for claiming a refund for the trip. We will always do our best to give our customers great experiences, even on days when the forces of nature are not easy to handle.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

A perfect trip on the fjord

The operator provided excellent information for start point, the boat was clean and comfortable. You could see everything from in the comfort of the cabin or from around the boat outside. Great commentary when needed, great views from start to finish.

This was by far one of my favorite days sitting at the front of the boat traveling through the Fjords seeing small towns The peacefulness in the beauty was amazing. Don’t miss out on this. it is definitely wise to have different layers of clothes to be prepared for some wind and temperature changes.

The boat was very comfortable and you could choose if you wanted to be inside or outside. The audio was all in English and they pointed out sights on the way. It was beautiful pretty much everywhere!

Mostraumen Fjord Tour

We had decent warm weather and the boat moves quickly and there were a few nice sights to see. The problem was we did the Lustrabaatan boat from Gudvangen th Flam on Naerofjord a few days earlier (2 hour one way)and that tour was over the top exceptional with many many sights and falls. The Mostrauman tour was therefore a bit of a let down since we had to travel 4 hours for a short view of some very nice falls and cliffs. If this is your only fjord tour .... do it and enjoy!

Great cruise!! The fjords and waterfalls are stunning! It was so convenient to walk right across the street from my hotel and get on the boat. They do a great job of getting you up close to main attractions so you can take pictures also.

Not worth 4 hours of your time

Not worth time or money. Basically we going for 2 hours one way to see the one huge waterfall at the end of the fjord and then heading back. We were passing other waterfalls on a way but they weren’t impressive and the boat didn’t stop next to them. Most of the people were sleeping.

Incredible tour made even better by our guide- I can’t recall the exact name but it began with a “B” and the kids called him Batman! Not a cheap trip but worth every penny. Highly recommend

Nature is as always brilliant. It would be great to have some more seating outside and more food choice on board. Overall we both can totally recommend this experience, it worth the money you spend.

Very nice fjord cruise

Very nice experience. You get to travel from the city of Bergen to the small village of Mo and back. Very impressive landscape all along the route you get to see some small villages and also a waterfall near the village of Mo . The excursion ship is very comfortable it offers seating inside and outside. Inside there is also a small shop which sells coffee and snacks. If you want to spend time outside get dressed very warm the wind outside is very cold especially at the front of the ship. However at the most important sights along the way the ship slowed down so that people can come out and make photos. Organization of the cruise was excellent we started at 10:00 am and we were back at the pier at Bergen at 2:00 pm.

The boat was fine but the views of the fjord were incredible! Boarded in April and it was freezing cold with the wind - bring warm clothes as you’ll want to stay outside to see it all.

This was a great four hour cruise to see the fjords. It is definitely worth doing, I would recommend that you arrive early to get a good seat as there is a whole center portion of seating that doesn’t get a great view. However, you are free to roam about the outdoor decks. Beautiful views!

Do not book with these. For two consecutive days they failed to fulfill the boat trip. wasted two days and we were only here for 3 days. Go book with Rodne instead a much better experience and much more professional. April 2024

Due to a broken cylinder in one of the ship's engines, we unfortunately had to cancel the fjord cruise. The mechanics at the local shipyard worked day and night to finish by the next day, which unfortunately they couldn't do, and we had to cancel again. This is not something we take lightly, in addition to disappointing our customers, we also suffer major financial losses when such incidents occur. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this caused our customers.

The boat was very nice with comfortable seats. However, we went on a cold day and some people were in the side seats with room for 6 but wouldn't share so there weren't enough indoor seats. I think the staff should announce that seats can't be saved and you can't put your coats on a seat just so no one sits next to you. We spent most of the trip outside but did want to come in and sit to warm up. The scenery was gorgeous and a fjord tour is a definite must while you're in Bergen.

Perfect excursion

Lovely boat excursion to see the fjord. Comfy and warm inside with lots of seating. Those of us who wanted to go outside had blankets if we needed them. The boat went right up close to some beautiful waterfalls and adorable villages, giving us lots of photo opportunities. And there were snacks on board if we wanted to purchase them, in addition to two toilets. Everyone on board was very happy. This was the perfect short trip to satisfy our needs.
