Mike gave the tour a professional, unbiased and knowledgeable tour of some wonderful vineyards in Marlborough region. Lunch was delicious and Mike stepped in to help staff who were doing their best in busy periods. Bought some delicious wines to drink during our campervan trek around NZ

Mike our guide was Super friendly and informative, personalising the trip and vineyards visited to our wine tastes. Mike took us to some wonderful places we would not have known to visit otherwise. Minibus was comfortable transport and air conditioned. Fabulous lunch stop at Allan Scott’s accompanied by a tasting alongside the food, followed by a trip to the local confectioners Makana. Tried 6 vineyards and tried numerous wine varieties I wouldn’t normally and found new favourites. Learnt a lot from Mike about the wines and processes which we would not have got from doing the trip solo. Didn't feel the “need” to buy anything at all which I loved but the option was there (which we took up!). Most vineyards belong to the wine collective so you can consolidate bottles across vineyards to ship a box home. Highly recommend this trip. It was a very relaxed day taken at our own pace and at no point rushed. Perfect!

We're so glad we opted for the guided tour vs. a self-guided experience. Not only was it great to have a driver and a series of pre-booked tastings, but the insider knowledge was invaluable - knowing which wineries have better tasting options (reserve wines etc.), which wineries have sufficient staff, etc. On top of that, Mike and Sue were extremely knowledgeable about the region, about the growing process, and about the wines.

We got lucky and ferry sailing disruptions meant we were alone on the tour, Mike was very knowledgeable and because we didn’t have anyone else with us he customised our tour to our tastes. The tasting rooms were sadly very quiet due to COVID restrictions but that also meant we had more personal service. Jackson Estate and Forrest were my favourite.
